AN: Tomorrow is the one day of the year when everyone feels a little bit Irish. However I am one of the fortunate people who are Irish all year round :D

St Patrick' Day is the one day of the year when the whole world feels a little bit Irish. People wear green, cities hold parades and celebrations, people in Ireland get the day off and many people get drunk. But hey, they are pretending to be Irish after all. It's hard not to be amazed by the world wide celebrations. The Hudson River in Chicago is dyed green every year and the Dublin St Patrick's Day parade is the biggest one in Ireland. In all his time on Earth, Jack had witnessed different St Patrick's Days and he had to admit he loved the traditions of the day. He always had a bottle of Bushmills whiskey and a twelve pack of Guinness to give to his team; which helped secure March the seventeenth as a favoured day of Owen Harper. Jack's favourite St Patrick's Day tradition was one he would use to his advantage right about… now.

"These are the reports you wanted Jack." Ianto said as he set them on Jack's desk. Jack nodded and smiled.

"Ianto, did you know there's a tradition surrounding St Patrick's Day?" Jack asked as he signed them as Jack O'Harkness. (Just a thing he did in honour of his non-existent Irish heritage)

"You mean aside from pretending to being a stereotype of the Irish for the day?" Ianto asked; raising an eyebrow at Jack's signature and the green braces he was wearing.

"A tradition on St Patrick's Day is to wear something green. But it looks like you've forgotten. Do you know that there is a tradition for those who don't wear green today?" Jack asked moving around his desk and approaching Ianto who began backing away; suddenly aware of what was going to happen. Jack grabbed his backside and pinched it tightly before sitting down and smiling innocently.

"Happy St Patrick's Day."

AN: That is an actual St Patrick's Day tradition amongst kids. If someone you know isn't wearing green on St Patrick's Day then you have to pinch them saying 'St Patrick's Day Pinch!' Have a great St Patrick's Day wherever you are
