''Angelique come here, there is something I want to discuss." Aunt Daisy replied.
The day seemed rather peaceful; hearing the wind endlessly blow the trees north. I quickly sat up from the bench and went to Aunt Daisy walking fast but in an- etiquette manner.
"It's not news from your mother." She sighed sadly. "Then what is it?" I asked
"Sit down sweetie." She said pointing to the Victorian chair. I immediately sat down. "What is it dear aunt?" She was trembling, as though on the verge of tears. "Ahh…what your grandfather did was wrong…making them suffer for his foolish desire." She gazed outside.
Their names just caused more guilt in my heart. It doesn't matter how many years, months, or eternities pass, I hurt more each day and their voice was barely audible in my ears. But their smiles will never linger from my mind or their piercing screams.
"But you're so young." She stroked my face. "And just like your mother a replica of her in heart and soul." "Daisy what are you saying? No need to be sad let's cherish this day." I said smiling in hopes to comfort her. "Butt-but she's coming FOR YOU!" Aunt Daisy cried out. It hurt me to see her like this, she was the only person from my mother's side who actually wanted to take care of me. "What? Who's coming?" I said as I hugging her.
She was about to reply, but suddenly the room went cold. The forest was still and the wind disappeared, as if to afraid to blow. The crystal door suddenly opened. At the doorway was a tall woman with black onyx hair. Her red eyes were as cold as winter and sent shivers down your spine. With all my might I stood up.
"What is a demon like you doing here in the heavens, where you are no longer permitted?"
"My, my, you're just like your mother. My grandson will like you." She said as she came closer to me. I was not getting married, especially to them for bounding my parents to such a terrible fate.
"And why would I be compatible to such a disgusting thing?" "Harsh words don't you think especially with that pride you angels have, no?" She said. My aunt suddenly spoke up, "Please leave! I beg of you, my niece is too young please just one more year!'' My aunt was begging on her knees. I couldn't help but feel disgusted that a demon was able to make an angel beg on her knees. "Get up! Aunt there is no need to be on your knees for such a thing like this." I was about to reach for Aunt Daisy when suddenly I heard a tearing sound. One of my wings had fallen off!
"That pride it what kills you angels thinking your better than someone superior to you ." "Stop, stop" I could barely manage to say, my pain was unbearable. I didn't know what had hurt more; the pain from my fallen wing or my aunt's face of fear.
"It appears there is only one wing left", her face showed no pity, only evilness enjoying my pain. "No please, no more" I whispered with cold tears streaming down my face. I couldn't die yet without searching once more for my parents.
With another tearing sound, my last wing fell to ground full of blood. A scream pierced the angelic heavens with a terrible sound of agony. This was the end. For the first time in my life I felt scared. I was terrified of dying, the darkness was engulfing me. Before I lost consciousness I heard the creature say, "Savor this for it is the last time you'll ever see heaven, granddaughter." I was too weak to fight back. Everything stopped, it was like a dream as I thought I was stuck in the dark forever.
