Gaara and Aki were standing in front of the gate of the leaf village. "Aki, Please don't leave me. You're the only one I have left! Aki I love you! Don't go!" Gaara cries. "I'm sorry, Gaara please forgive me. I love you also but I must leave to go on a mission" Aki whispers softly. Aki kisses Gaara gently then runs out of the village. Gaara watches Aki with tears going down his face.
:End Flashback:
Aki was jumping through the tree tops when a kuneai lodges itself in her knee. Aki gasps in pain then hits the ground with a loud thud. Gaara is fighting team 7 for some reason. Aki looks up "GAARA? WHATS GOING ON HERE?" Aki screams. The fight speeds to a halt as they all look at Aki who has a kuneai in her knee. Gaaras eyes widen as he sees Aki. "Aki…" Gaara stutters as he walks over to aki. Aki smiles as Gaara helps her up. "WHO'S THAT GAARA?" Naruto shouts loudly. Gaara hits Naruto with his sand. Gaara picks up Aki and takes her to a hospital where the kuneai is pulled out and her knee is bandaged. The two head to the Hokages office and Aki gets a limited stay in the village with Gaara. Aki and Gaara walk around the village and Gaara stops once and pick's a rose for Aki. Aki blushes slightly and accepts the rose. The two finally reach Gaaras house where they go to sleep for the night.
