An alarm blared loudly as the sun shone through the windows of a small apartment. A metal hand reached out to turn the alarm off but missed and ended up knocking a glass of whisky on the floor.
"Sonofabitch." A voice mumbled from under the pillow. The man took the pillow off his face and turned the alarm off. He sat up and yawned before looking at his phone

[Ike: You've got to get here right away Ash, huge sale, many customers, am scared!]
Ash sighs and lays back down for a second before getting up and going through his morning routine. Shower, Shave, Teeth, Uniform, Breakfast, Work. The commute to work wouldn't be so bad, however the radio plays nothing but top 40 hits. After the fifth time of Barbie Girl playing Ash gets so frustrated he switches it to talk radio.
"Whaaaaaaaaaat's up Neo-Vancetown, this is your host Frank West and welcome to Zombie Wat-" Ash switches the Radio off. "Amateurs." He scoffs as he walks into the store. Upon entering he sees a huge crowd of people, well, crowding the store. Ash wades through the unruly customers and reaches the customer service desk.
"OK OK SETTLE DOWN ONE AT A TIME OKAY?!" He shouts as he tries helping the customers one by one. After an hour or two the store has finally calmed down and Ash goes to check out how the rest of the store is. He comes across Jason putting merchandise on the shelves. "Hey big guy, doing good?" Jason turns to Ash and gives him a thumbs up.
"Good to hear, How's Sadako doing?"
Another thumbs up.
"Wanna grab a bite to eat later?"
Jason nods.
"Alright, Denny's sound good?"
Another Nod.
"See you then big guy."
Ash walks over to the Registers and leans on one. "So how's the great Cassie Hack today?"
" I dunno how's the overconfident loudmouth today?"
"Owch words hurt Cass."
"I know Ash."
There is a pause.
"So I'm gathering everybody and seeing if they want to get some food after work. You in?"
"Sure why not."
"Alright. We're meeting at Denny's after work. Don't be late."
Ash finally walks over to the electronics. Ike looks up from his game and waves him over.
"Huge sale today, ay Ash?"
"I thought they'd never leave. Thanks for the text by the way."
"No problem. So Denny's tonight right."
"Like usual after a huge crowd."
Ike Grins. "Alright."
Everyone's sitting around a table at Denny's, plates cleared.
"This was some damn good food." Ash states.
Jason Nods in agreement and takes out a pen and paper.
[The fries could've used a little more salt.]
Cassie rolls her eyes. "It was okay."
Ike laughs and eats more of his pie.
Ash gets out of his seat and laughs. "See you guys tomorrow."
Ash gets into his car and starts driving home. Once he reaches his apartment he unlocks the door and throws his keys on the table in the corner. He flops down on his bed and sets his alarm.
"Tomorrow is another day."
