The Chess Games

It all started February 17 of who knows what year. Trunks was out playing with Goten when all of a sudden, Trunks had a wild and hilariously insane idea. He wanted to have a Chess tournament to see who was the brightest. He was all gun-ho on his idea so the next day he put flyers on all the light posts and wood things telling about his wonderful idea. The flyers read:

The Chess Tournament of a Lifetime Held by Trunks the mighty

March 6th

A chess tournament will be held on March 6th to show

brains, not brawns. But whoever does win will get to

 face me in a fight. So come out if you want,

you'll have a great time!!!

P.S. There will be food!

So right after he set up the flyers (and it was okay with Bulma), he and Goten started, well, training for the big chess tournament on the 6th. Of course they had a while but hey, why not be ready to kick some tail when the time came. Trunks was having loads of fun teaching Goten anyway, since he couldn't play because he was the "prize." It was exciting. He started wondering after a while though. "Hmmm, I wonder if anyone will even show up?" Well, read on and find out!

March 6th (the day of the tournament)

"Okay Goten, this is the day!" Trunks was overly excited and looking forward to the day's chess competition.

"All right, I hope a lot of people show up!" Goten was ready to go also.

And to there surprise, all the Z fighters and many normal people came and prepared for the battle. Among them were Gohan, Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta, (and he was grumpy as usual) Krillin, Videl, Android 18, Chousu, Tian, Yamcha, and even King Kai (don't ask me why or how).

"So Trunks, when I win, I'll go easy on you!" Goku chuckled.

And then the games began! The final standings looked like this.

So in the end Goten won. He faced Trunks and won and then they all went home. Have fun reading other stories, bye!
