A/N : Heyy guys. Remember me? Yep, I'm back. Sort of. Anyway, I wrote this as a revenge fic for my friend Mia who thought it would be okay to fill my TL with sappy Caskett family feels. It's extremely short and I wrote it for fun, but she liked it and so here I am. MammaMiaaa, this one's for you. :)

It's been a tiring day at the precinct. Kate walks in the door, and all she really wants is a bear hug from her children. All she needs is to experience the joyful innocence of her two babies.

As she unlocks the door, she can hear giggling. Smiling, she slips off her coat and Rick walks in bouncing Charlie. She pecks her husband on the lips and takes her youngest child from him, nestling him near her, as he burrows his face in her neck.

As she walks further into the loft, she smiles even more. Alexis and her husband, Greg are waltzing to the Sinatra that she can now hear flitting in the air. Roy and Ella sit on the couch, captivated, giggling at Greg's silly antics. Suddenly, Ella looks up making eye contact with Kate, eyes shining. She beckons her mom to come sit with them, and of course, Kate complies. She wiggles her way between both her children, both Roy and Ella moving closer as she softly kisses them on the head. Roy looks at her, putting his finger on his lips, but leans his head on her shoulder anyway.

And then, In My Veins begins to play and everyone pauses. Everyone is looking at Kate and Rick, but all they see is one another. This is their song, and the whole world knows it. Silently, she hands Charlie to Ella, as Rick makes his way across the room, hand extended. He pulls her off the couch and then they're off. Dancing around the room, they're in their own world, transported back to their wedding day, when everything was perfect.

It is then, swirling in his arms, that Kate suddenly realises that it doesn't get any more perfect than this. She's blessed with a family- a beautiful one at that, the most amazing husband, the most gorgeous children, and she could not be happier. She breaks away from Rick, softly, and grabs Roy. Rick nods understandingly and takes Ella, putting Charlie in his pen. Ella and Roy stand on their parents feet, and they swirl around, far from graceful. As the Castle family waltzes around the living room, giggling, Kate realises that if you truly believe, you can always find magic...

A/N : Yep, so that's all! Review please! Reviews are like cookies - they make me happy! Oh, also! I have another fic that I wrote, about the wedding (which also has a Johanna Beckett angle to it). It's sap again, so if anyone wants to read, do let me know. Thanks a bunch for reading! :D
