"Magnus!" Alec screamed. When Alec calls Magnus answers. He ran in. "What is it Alec?" he asked worriedly, "I can't sleep." Alec said sadly. Magnus went over to him. "Its okay biscuit." And hugged him tightly. Alec lay down and quickly fell asleep. He looked so peaceful asleep, Magnus thought. Finally, some peace and quiet. He went towards the chest of drawers, opened a drawer and pulled out a pair of Alec's black jeans which he wears like, every day. Tiredly, Magnus put them on. He felt some thing in the back pocket. He reached for it, and when he pulled it out it was a box. He opened it. Inside was the most gorgeous ring. The amber twisted around the sapphire. He then realised that it was the colour of both of their eyes. "Magnus?" Alec called out into the darkness. Magnus walked towards him, setting the ring down on the bedside table. "Yes, Alec?" he answered, sitting on the bed. "What's that in your hand?" he asked. Magnus nodded side to side, "Nothing honey, just nothing." Alec made a noise and fell back asleep. Magnus fell asleep beside him. When Magnus woke Alec was gone. What also was gone, was the ring. Alec must has seen it on the table and took it with him. Clary came over to talk about her wedding plans. It was fun talking about weddings when he knew he could be getting hitched as well. She started talking about Jace, and his excitement towards the baby. Or should he say babies? No, he couldn't, leave it for a surprise. A big one. After Clary left, Alec texted him saying," Let's go to dinner." "I'll text you the address." He agreed to dinner, but the restaurant must have an amazing view. Alec picked him up at 7 and brought him to this rooftop restaurant in Soho. "You look handsome." Magnus said, kissing him on the cheek. Alec smiled. It had been awhile since Alec had genuinely smiled. They ate dinner, talked exchanged kisses and compliments. Then Alec muttered something about going to the toilet. Magnus nodded and looked out into the city. Something about this city made him feel alive and happy. He couldn't explain it. A few seconds later, Alec remerged from the bathroom. He dug into his pockets, took out the box and tapped Magnus on the shoulder. "Magnus, I love you so will you marry me?" he said nervously. Magnus's face bursting with glee. "Of course, I will!" He kissed him passionately.
