Remembering and Thoughts
Remus Lupin stared out of his window. A week ago he had found out that 2 of his closest friends had been killed by Lord Voldemort and another of his friends had been sentenced to go to Azkaban.He had lost all his friends that had liked him and trusted him even when they knew his secret: that he was a werewolf. He couldn't believe that Sirius had betrayed James and Lily. James was like his brother and Sirius would die before hurting them. Remus remembered the first time he had met them. It was in their first year on the train to Hogwarts he was looking for an empty carriage and had asked if he could sit with them. There was Lily, sitting in a corner, and James sitting next to Sirius. They had said yes and he sat next to Lily and for the first time in his life he had felt excepted. Remus remembered everything through all the seven years he had known them.All the tricks they had played and would never play again.
When they had found he was a werewolf they had become Animagus so they could be with him when he transformed. The times when Lily and James were at war and playing tricks on each other. At graduation when James proposed to Lily, the same night they had all sat by the lake and promised to be friends forever and they would all stay in touch which had been broken because of Voldemort.
One of the last times he ever saw them was on James and Lily's wedding day, everyone had been so happy. He had a photo of that day.Everyone had grown up and gone on with their life but they were still the best of friends.
The last time he ever saw them was at a house warming after Lily had Harry. Harry had James's hair and Lily's eyes.They had never been happier.But now that was all gone.Lily and James were gone never to come back. Sirius, after all he had been through, was now left to suffer in silence in Azkaban over his friends.
In just a week, Remus Lupin had lost all his friends, the people close to him, the people who excepted him for who he was. He is alone.
Up in Heaven Lily and James looked down and thought. One day we will all be together like it was and like it should have been.
