The Summer of memories

Annie,Cassandra,Tim Drake and Stephanie Brown alongside the Detective Club help make the legacy of the Bat Family grow so far under Batman's watch after saving Gotham while putting up with the press Vigilantism resistance on weather it's okay to have them around or not. Now after learning about the reason why the media and authority are having debate on the papers. Annie and the Detective Club are trying to clear their heads from all the drama within the sea.
The voices of the press and people of Gotham telling her that she's different from the monsters she put in the Penitentiary in Annie's mind in her sleep causing Tim to wake up hearing her sobbing and keep saying that she's sorry, she so sorry to Gotham, the media and those who keep blaming her for all the new foes that came after her debut as the Magnificent Claydoll in her sleep.
"Annie shhh it's okay it's only a bad dream you're really right here with me. I'm here okay just wake up." Tim softly said to Annie while hugging her and rubs her back to make her feel safe as she wakes up and wipes the tears off.
"It's all a dream all those people I helped begin to hurt me treated me like I'm just another bad person and it still hurts so much even after learning the truth. Thanks for waking up from that my lovebird or else one of them will those stick pitchforks things at me." Annie respond shaking while hugging Tim trying to calm down before Cassandra sense something off but
"Sister Annie you okay I heard you crying behind the wall that you made Ace whimper, let me guess you still upset about what those people say about us?" Cassandra asked as she sits on The Mystery Couple bed with Ace checking on Annie as she rubs his head.
"Yes afraid so, even if we did a good job I just can't believe that the news is being mean to people like as if we are bad. I didn't mean to wake you and Ace." Annie respond as Cassandra pat her twin's head
"It does not matter to me and Ace we're always alert anyway, all that matters now is we got to help you deal with your little fears on what people think of you and our views. Timothy Drake what's your method to help my sister Annie?" Cassandra asked Tim for answers pointed directly at him
"Hey usually I planned to take Annie to any pleasant places I can think of depending on the weather and environment but since you're more of an answer now or have my bones dislocated kind of girl I'll say usually my plans involved dates for me and her but now with you in the family I'll say a place good for the us and you and several others."
Tim explained as Cassandra trying to understand what Tim is saying.
"I don't have time for your strategy save it when we actually in another hit and run situation tonight I want to return the favor for sister Annie and I'm telling you that only me and you can help her. Now please answer the question I'm not going to harm you for her sake." Cassandra responds as Annie is letting them have their conversation while rubbing Ace's head
"Well it's still summer so maybe if you guys can still swim before how about the Gotham Beach Annie you can still swim since Bruce and Alfred teaches you back in the pool."
Tim answers to question as Annie is nervously smiles
"I would love to see the Beach for the very first time I need my goggles so the water don't hurt my eyes like before. Sister Cass can you swim maybe I can teach you but you need goggles." Annie respond happily
"I learned to swim before but without goggles since they don't bother my eyes just need a swimsuit that Stephanie told me she'll get me" Cassandra respond nonchalantly
"Oh so she's ahead of me well at least I got white button up shirt for you just in case you feel shy or the wind blow at you." Annie said almost in a disappointed tone with of head down
"I'm sure she give me a good one you don't have to worry about someone looking at me odd there you overprotective silly sister of mine." Cassandra said smiling at what Annie is thinking
"Yeah as long as Bruce don't have to pay the poor guys health insurance but you'll be fine. Now can you let my legs go please?" Tim asked as Cass smile at his response on gets off the bed
"Don't worry I'm only lightweight but thanks for the manners." Cassandra responds as she goes to the bathroom.
Meanwhile after Stephanie had breakfast with her mother in their home. A doorbell rang cause Stephanie to get to the door and gets the newspaper from the newspaper boy and only takes the story involved in the Spoiler's first debut in Gotham photo and the events the happened with the Children of Clay and recent photos of Black Bat debut and the Dynamic trio but when she gets to her room and reads what the press thinks of all the sudden costumed individuals around the streets.
"WHAT!?! They better not say that we're to blame. The Bat Family saves those people last night, how are they the bad guys?!" Stephanie blood boiled in anger at the fact that after all she and her friends has done the press still looks at her and the rest like her father or any other criminal in mask.
"Gah! I'm sooooo going to call Tim and the others about this nonsense before I'll show them who they should really point fingers to!!" Stephanie locks her bedroom doors and call the Stately Wayne Manor resistance to see if they already hear about criticism of their crusade.
"Hello this is Wayne Manor resistance Alfred Pennyworth speaking" Alfred answered the manor's phone
"Hey Mr Pennyworth I was reading about what the newscaster and reporters are saying about us and I'm just upset about how they treated us for doing the right thing. *sigh* It's like they trying to compare me to my dad even though the commissioner trying to defend us, but yet like so many times they seem to be using you all as scapegoats out of fear or ignorance instead of just say the real criminals in their cells are to blame it's irritating!!" Stephanie explained in frustration try not to yell at Alfred but he used to it
"Calm Down Mrs Brown I understand how upset you are with all this. Fortunately You're not the only ones who called for this conversation." Alfred respond
"Sorry I shouldn't yell but wait you're saying I'm not the only one in this phone now?" Stephanie asked as she fines out for herself.
"Greetings Stephanie Brown I'm Olive Silverlock it's been awhile I been letting Alfred know what I read too" Olive makes herself known in her room
"Golly! This it's been awhile since the group have multi phone conversation since we first saw each other unless all the time talking in a communicator counts I'm Eric Jorgensen it's nice interact with you again Stephanie." Eric spoke in his phone as well
"Yeah it's cool that I'm not alone in this We need witnesses for this situation." Stephanie respond happily
"I am the witness too remember? I feel you're getting cheesed off about the crud those guys say about you guys too huh Stephanie? I just find it never understand why population well half of it still sees the good guys as crazy folks with a group of kids who are quote badly influenced." Carrie Kelley snark a little at the problem
"Yeah hahaha good point Carrie." Stephanie respond
"That's what they think maybe but don't worry about it gang Alfred just explained that The Mystery Couple of ours suggested we should go to the Beach to help calm our heads especially after hearing that Annie was crying about it in her sleep which is a big skyscraper sized no no for Tim and us to not do." Heathcliff now explained the idea which surprise Stephanie
"YESSIE I love the beach maybe I get to show Eric my swimsuit and My brother Kyle can come join us so that even special news for you Olive to show off your umm mystique hehehehe" Maps Mizoguchi playfully cheers and messed with Olive's affection over Kyle.
"Umm let's just focus on helping Annie for now Maps but I won't mind trying." Olive responds while blushing behind the phone in a daydream like smile.
"Speaking of swimsuit I finally got one for Cassandra that suits her." Stephanie said as the Mystery Couple and Cassandra coming down from upstairs no longer in their pajamas after they had breakfast in the dinner table and Tim informed Alfred about a way to help Annie relax and clear the rest of the gang heads over the news.
"Is everyone on board with today's plan and have their swimming license okay minus the swimming license part." Tim asked his faithful butler
"It appears so I hope you all have sunscreen before you go out there and not get too far of the shores." Alfred respond giving both the kids in the phone and the three wards advice on what and what not to do in the Beach like don't leave behind trash, don't shake out your towel near others, don't feed the seagulls, don't let your pets roam unattended, always follow the warring sides, don't forget headphones.
"I see so this custom will go out smoothly if we follow those rules and watch Ace and it seems once again I have to used my reading lessons to good use for signs. I understand Mr Pennyworth." Cassandra said
"Same with me and Tim since he can show me about what it's like in there I just hope I don't run in those Sharks when we get in the water. I don't want them to bite anyone." Annie said with concern but Tim wrap his arms around her back.
"I am sure we won't be bumping into one they don't be around close shores You don't have to worry about them Sweetheart." Tim responds as Annie feel comfort once more from Tim and hugs him.
"Thanks Tim at least I can protect you if they do come for you." Annie respond happily
"You're welcome Annie just have to wait for the gang to come by here with the van in the meantime we should be packing and remember to use a lot of sunscreen so you get any sunburn because trust me you'll get burned like being bitten by fire ants" Tim warned Annie
"Oh no I don't want to feel that again thanks for reminding me" Annie makes sure she has sunscreen in her backpack besides her yellow one piece.
"You really are a strange one sister Annie. But I'll make sure you'll be okay in the water as well." Cassandra said smiling at her sister as Annie pats her back knowing that Cassandra is growing a dedicated duty on looking out for Annie's well being while taking inspiration from her which Annie don't seem to mind being a role model to her.
"Thank you sister Cass! You can protect me all you want but just remember that the Beach is sort of like a break from your first night that way you can continue learning how to live your life in society." Annie points out while being hugged by Cassandra.
"I'll do what I can to make you proud of me after what you did to me Sister Annie that's my goal for you." Cassandra feels her heart get warm and nearly beats a little faster cause her to hold her chest and feel pain from it.
'Sorry just my heart feels warm again getting used to these emotions." Cassandra said doing her I'm okay smile on Annie and Tim to calm them and Alfred down.
"You'll get used to these emotions sooner or later Cass just got to tell your heart to keep its temperature stable or it can end up overheat itself." Tim responds
"This is not the first time Sister Cass does not it's like whenever she feels positive care for someone in a normal empathic way or something like that." Annie explained
"Mrs Cain just adjusting to a environment where she is no longer a tool or anymore I'm sure she can be fine. Now we just have to wait for the kids in their arrival." Alfred stated as Cassandra lays down on the couch with her hands behind her head and her eyes closed but still aware of what's going on around her as she's trying to have think about her times with her father training with her and spending time with it like it's just a neutral game to her but even when not training.
David Cain is someone whose own insane goals were balanced by a deep and genuine love for Cassandra as a daughter.
Yeah he would beat her, shoot her and sic assassins on her to increase her fighting skills. But whenever they always accompanied anything together, the two of them smiling and enjoying each other. The language restriction was a way for her to increase her fighting prowess, not from a fear of being lied to. Now some might say that people who expressed themselves in their own odd ways but Cassandra and her dad don't mind them unless they're part of the training.
Sometime later
As Cassandra smiling in her daydream like state she opened one eye to see who's blocking the sunlight and sees a tall muscular size man stand at end of the couch which reminded her of David Cain.
"Father?" Cassandra said in a confused tone but in reality it's just Bruce Wayne checking on Cassandra as she snap out of her thoughts and sits up.
"I been checking on some more information about your training with your father and from what I saw in the tapes. He's genuinely cares about you as his daughter at the end of the day. You're probably thinking about him earlier seeing you smiling." Bruce explained his recent info on David Cain
"He hadn't make his presences known much but I'm glad you able to learn the idea of restrictions and most importantly that he is a real father for his child. I promise to make sure you stay alive for him." Bruce sits next to Cassandra as she looks surprised and proud to hear that and look at Bruce.
"My dad is a good man deep down he's just doing what he can do best, killing for hire and yet I still hoping that he is proud of my choices that I made for me. He is not like my mom okay?" Cassandra responds
"Trust me I believe you. I was his students after all I know what he's like, but I will take action if he hired to murder anyone in Gotham but I hope it don't have to come to that just in case you're worried. Shiva is already a handful for you from my experience." Bruce stated with Cassandra smiling in relief
"I'm aware you faced her too before from what she called the skinny ward with long hair protege and that Batgirl a sidekick. She's seems to know who you all are without the mask. What if she decide to come and attack you all to get to me." Cassandra explained
"Lady Shiva maybe dangerous but she's a honorable fighter as they say you can't invade the enemy territory unless there is endgame I hope you understand Shiva would plan ahead on that before coming after you with us. The reason why she breaks in the Nightwing's home it's to simply take you in her wing again until you opposed her opportunity and settle it with a fight Shiva only want you until Nightwing and Batgirl interfered and that is when she sees what you three really capable of so she'll think carefully about her next attempt." Bruce Wayne answered as he and Cass heard a horn of a vehicle outside of the Wayne Manor entrance.
"Magnificent timing they must be here! Sister Cass I hope you're awake!" Annie's voice echoes across living room.
"Sounds like you're needed. Anything you want to tell me?" Bruce asked Cassandra as they both get up off the couch
"I am sure we are good for now after all I'm curious about what Swimsuit Stephanie going to give me I hope it fits me like she say it is."
Cassandra said as Bruce gives concerned look after he turns his face away from Cassandra.
"Lets just hope it's appropriate and remember to used that shirt that Annie gives you unless you're on the water." Bruce stated
"I understand Bruce I'll be okay. See you soon. I'll make sure Ace stay supervised." Cassandra said as hugs Bruce and gets her green backpack and follows Annie and Tim to the entrance with Ace beside her as Alfred opens the door and see a Blue stripe on each side and green GMC van in front of the door as the front window goes down reveal to be Olive Silverlock on the front passenger seat alongside Carrie Kelley in the middle and Heathcliff Ray on the driver seat while Eric Jorgensen, Maps Mizoguchi and Stephanie Brown on the middle passenger seat so they can open the side door of the van.
"Got room for more? Because the Detective Club is putting the pedal to the metal!" Heathcliff stated smiled as the kids waved at each other.
"Hey friends I don't know you guys can drive a vehicle it look awesome and huge! This our transportation right?" Annie asked in a remarked reaction
"Yup this is our traveling company from my parents old garage, don't worry I have a license" Heathcliff respond reveal with driver license.
"I am very impressed dude! It's fitting for us in our little group we should give it a name." Tim responds as he inspects the van
"We can called it Mystery Hunter. I figure out since we can used this to ride around Gotham and maybe investigate locations around the city. And I also have Cassandra's swimsuit with me I hope she enjoy the outfit." Stephanie respond
"Which reminds me where is Cassandra? I expect her to be around you Annie." Maps asked as Annie was about to answer but Cassandra came behind her while hold Ace dog leash so the people in Beach won't kick him out while in her pink shirt that reveal her stomach and baggy jeans with black shoes.
"Here I am Maps I just being told that if I keep Ace on a leash he can stay with us at all times." Cassandra answered
"He doesn't seem much of a wild pet from what I seen from him so far at least I don't get to see his bad side in person." Eric said as Ace give confused stare about what he saying
Annie gets to van to talk with Stephanie and grabs her arm.
"Please tell me that sister Cass swimsuit is appropriate enough can you show me what it looks like?" Annie whispers in Stephanie's ear.
"Geez You need to learn to put your fate in others sometimes mother Wayne. but yes it's seems appropriate to my eyes see?" Stephanie opens the box reveal to be all black two piece which make Annie give Stephanie a concerned look but before she can say anything.
"I think it works nicely for me you even got my colors correct, I love it thanks Stephanie I'm sure Sister Annie don't mind right?" Cassandra remarks at Stephanie and take the black two piece as Annie smiled at Cassandra but deep down feel little bit okay as long as she do one thing.
"You're welcome Cassandra I told Annie so that you'll like it." Stephanie respond while winks at Annie.
"I'm sure I don't mind sister Cass just make sure you put on the button shirt that I give you when you're not in the water." Annie told Cassandra in a big sister tone.
"I am sure I'm fine but I'll wear it anyway. Thanks for letting me make my own choices sister Annie I promise to not let you down."
Cassandra smile sweetly back at Annie making her heart warm from her words.
"I am proud of you just tell me if something's bothers you deep inside no hiding things from me." Annie respond.
"I'm sure there is nothing wrong with me yet I just had a good rest that's all." Cassandra responds as she sits next Stephanie Maps and Eric.
"Okay well at least I'm here for you if you needed me I'll just let you be a big girl now since you proven worthy my Sister hahaha." Annie now truly smiled and hugs Cassandra behind her making her smiled as she wraps her arms behind Annie.
"All set gang?" Tim asked everyone as Ace barks as his way of saying yes after sniffing and checking on everyone stuff.
"Your heard the Ace man we're all set for the road." Heathcliff responds as everyone gives a thumbs up with Tim sitting next to Annie and Ace.
"Remember to follow the rules of the beach and be safe out there around the shore children!" Alfred reminds the young sleuths.
"Sure thing Mr Pennyworth we'll be back before it gets dark and let you know if things goes crazy." Carrie respond as they both waving at each other then the Mystery Hunter van now moves away the entrance and head outside the gate that opens on its own and heads to the city.
During the ride with the radio on.
"So basically she wants to make her own group simply because she feels you're apparently got us as your team? That's insane and unnecessary that you know what I try not to dwell on how her mind works." Carrie respond to what Annie told her about what happened last night.
"Good I'm just glad she and those children are back to where they belong. I just trying to find a way to relax and hopefully get to kick back as you say it maybe at least I know that I can believe that Sister Cass can handle herself and Carrie you know what even if you all are not my real blood you're all like family to me and what happened last night show me that even if people got it misunderstood we all still here not just friends but family." Annie respond happily as Carrie glad to see Annie in a good mood despite all that goes on.
"Well good we like to see you as a sister too or cousin I'm sure we can be fine honestly I know that if someone a close one to Tim then their a friend of mines. At least something tells me that this summer will be something that we'll never forget I mean look at this we teens in our own sweet ride after we stop the destruction of the city. How cool can this summer possibly be." Carrie said trying to ease up tension.
"Oh by the way there is a cooler at the back if you need anything." Heathcliff mentioned
"That is good news thanks friend!"Annie joyfully grabs some sodas for her, Tim, Stephanie and Cassandra
"It's a good things they have sweet tea favor or I'll turn this thing around! HAHAHAHA" Cassandra cute smooth laughter almost surprised The whole gang except for Annie
"What I was just trying to be funny did it work?" Cassandra asked
"Yeah it's just we rarely hear you let out so much as a chuckle or anything like that it's not scaring us if you think that way." Eric said while holding Maps hand skittishly as Cassandra take note of it and looks down in shame.
"Sister Cass listen we're okay with you laughing we just didn't expect you to find a sense a humor and I'm happy that you manage to learn about it without my guidance you're a fast learner there!" Annie cheers up Cassandra as she chin up and smiled
"I got it right I learn about Glasgow humor and other humor stand up from a joke book I read I guess the books right about your audience so shocked that it's a punchline." Cassandra explain in joy as she turns her head to Annie.
"Hahaha now I get it that what's from Irony with Ironic my mother teach me it's the only reason why I still understand Maps jokes for years." Olive said as Maps pulls herself up to Olive getting in Stephanie's way.
"Oh so that's how you're no longer act like zombie with no laugh box because Dr Silverlock just give you a funny bone or Brain treatment huh Hahaha!" Maps joke around as the gang even with Cassandra laugh but Olive looks to the front mirror with those red colored eyes of hers stare dead at Maps cause her to feel slightly intimidated.
"Get. Back. In your. Seatbelts Mizoguchi!" Olive shows her eerie side in a monotone voice cause Maps to do what she's told.
"Umm yes m.am sorry." Maps respond as Olive now starting to laugh at her friends reaction.
"And that's how you get someone to feel uneasy if things get too light for them hehehehe." Olive said as she check on Maps
"You okay? I'm only being the Zombie and seriously you should keep yourself buckled up." Olive said as Maps stop feeling uneasy.
"Oh okay I'll should keep myself buckle then buddy. I should've got used to that by now if anything I say your mom's more scarier when she does it besides you're not as cold as you was before when I first met you." Maps nonchalantly smiled
"Oh please don't remind me I can be cold but you're just too special to me and my mom will be my favorite nightmare if someone she does not know interacts with me you should have seen Eric's face when she first saw you and Eric he was more shakin like a scared rabbit with he get a good look at me and my mom at the same time and I haven't known much about you until Maps told me you two dating." Olive remarkably remember when her Maps and Eric go to their first parents day event at 5th grade.
"Back then I trying to prove to the whole school you two are aliens from another world trying to discover human life and take us away." Eric said remember how he used to hide behind Maps when she goes near them.
"And that day you tried to sneak in my house but got Maps involved until Mom spot you through the mirror and throw a fake patient severed head that's covered in ketchup staring at you in the halls giving a phone call too about "If you try to get in my place without my permission or tell anyone about the photo of my fake patient doll to continued your fanatics about me and my daughter being aliens I will make you regret it. Now run home or I'm calling your family. It's so priceless of the great lengths she'll do to make sure you don't pull that stunt again." Olive's snark at Eric while doing her impression of her mom Sybil Silverlock.
"Hey I just wanted to make sure the earth is not in danger that's all but nice channeling your mom there."Eric respond making Olive giggles.
"Speaking of my mom. I wonder if she knows" Olive said
"She knows what Olive?" Stephanie asked
"Well okay I think she knows about my job as an information broker and Detective in our family but yet last night she come to me telling me about the news I was so scared trying to explain but she not mad at me not even a little and hugs me saying that she's happy that I managed to make a difference in the field and knowing that I make it safety and sound dad and her will be proud of me now I make sure she won't get anyone involved in my family secret so this is between me, her and us." Olive explained as everyone seem shocked at first but sighed in relief.
"Whew well at least your mother understands the situation like that the Commissioner on TV and for that I'll destroy the recent video cams I have in your yard around the grassy fields at my place and close my case. Oops pretend you didn't heard that." Eric said while unbuckle his seatbelt and crawl under the seat to Annie, Tim and Ace as Olive give Eric her eerie stare as the rest laughing at Eric's persistent case from 5th grade.
"Jorgensen you slime!!! Hahahaha okay I'm going to let you go only because I am glad about mom and I family secret and I'm in a good mood despite what I just heard from you." Olive said calmly as Eric crawls back to his seat and buckles his seatbelt.
"I am glad you so understanding guess Mapsy reformed you to a emphatic girl and a little grim after all." Eric said in relief.
"Don't push it again I'll still be grim but nevermind I just take your word." Olive said blushing that being with the gang does open her up then she tried hiding it.
"The point is I think she probably seen your dad in you and it's got to be the reason why she lets you continue solving mysteries with us, knowing you'll be okay as you grow." Annie points out as Olive smiled at the idea.
"Hmmm I think I can get a hang of that then I'll get to continue his legacy." Olive said with her hands behind her head.
"At least we still managed to keep people guessing and just say we're only crazy kids now with a rich dog still looking for clues about the city or just going out kicking it around workout any supervision unless Ace counts as an adult." Heathcliff said as Ace got his ears up at the whole conversation wanks his tail as he gets on his two legs smiling by the comments then gets down silently creeps up to Cassandra backpack as The Mystery Couple take noticed.
"Looks like Ace wants a pick me up treats before we get to location Cass." Tim said as Ace stop teething on the zipper.
"It's on the middle part of the backpack." Cassandra answered as Annie opens up the middle zipper that Ace was teething at and grabs the dog treats.
"Okay Ace come and get your Ace snacks hehehehe!" Annie playfully as Ace gets four snacks and takes some more than goes back to his seat beside the Mystery Couple and licks their faces.
"Awww we love you too Ace hahaha that tickles!" Tim said laughs at Ace excitement
"Yes it's actually sweet you can stop now boy hahahaha down down!" Annie playfully laughs as Ace goes to her.
"He made be a man in our years but that doesn't mean he can still be a pup at heart and felt that way too." Cassandra said as the gang laugh at their friends dealing with Ace victory licking.
As the gang made it to the beach parking lot after being inspected.
"Well gang, we're here at Gotham Beach and boy does it look like Paradise!" Heathcliff stated smiled at the scenery.
"Sister Annie,Stephanie this place is making my heart warm and I loved it." Cassandra comments as this time her heart not in pain from the feeling like last time.
"Of course you're heart will feel warm inside when you're in this experience. It's not like you're a robot or anything."Stephanie respond smiling at her friend for learning about life it's like a little 6 year old but mature.
"I beginning to understand the feeling now Sister Cass I know I have seen stuff like this on TV but it feels magnificent to see it in person. Tim we should make sand angels or frolicking around sea together while guided me into this place in your arms." Annie said in a dreamlike state while wrapping her arms around him.
"I knew this can help you feel better now and I'll be sure to hold you through it all to ensure that I'm always here for you through this time." Tim responds holding his loves hand.
The Detective Club have get their bags from the Mystery Hunter. They seen the signs that point them to the changing so each one of them get in the beach outfits while Ace is waiting with a leash and a A.W for Ace Wayne dog tag around his neck so there's no problem.
Olive wears a black one piece embroidered with a crescent moon on the back.
Eric wears a black shorts embroidered with green trees and have a green suffer shirt so he can feel comfortable.
Carrie Kelley wears a blue one piece that has a oval shape open reveal only her belly.
Maps wears a orange one piece with a red shooting star embroidered on the outfit.
Heathcliff wear a flower pattern red and yellow colored suffer shirt with and white muscle shirt to go with it, yellow shorts and brown sandals.
Stephanie Brown has on a purple bikini, purple dress to cover the bottom of her purple two piece and a purple floppy hat with green leaves on it.
Tim wore a tight blue and green flower patterned surfer shirt, with surfboard in the center, and he had tan khaki pants with red umbrellas on them tropical ensemble, were bleached white sandals.
"Now you really look like a walking eggplant but just right out of your garden."Tim snark at Stephanie.
"Well what can I say. Eggplant is the new purple." Stephanie comments pose dramatically with her hands on her hips.
Annie slowly walks outside the room everyone greets her causally but Tim was stunned and blush at what's in front of him seeing the Clay of justice in her yellow one piece and goggles around her neck instead of her face as Annie nervously stand in front of me with her hands behind her back.
"Umm how does it look did I do it right Tim?" Annie skittishly said looking at his outfit and both their face are little red.
"You look amazing Annie! The one piece really does suits you better I have to thank Bruce on that part." Tim snaps out of his love stun and gives Annie a thumbs up and comment.
"Thanks darling you too look amazing as you say your outfit suits you too." Annie respond happily no longer skittish as she hug Tim but notice Cassandra not around.
"Where Sister Cass? I give her the shirt moment ago." Annie asked anyone
Everyone shrugged their shoulders until Cassandra opens the door revealing her black two piece that Stephanie gives her and wear the white button shirt Annie gives her but left it open.
"I am doing this right guys at least I put the shirt so Sister Annie to watch over my shoulder like a hawk. Oh dear you are Sister Annie well happy that I hide myself?" Cassandra asked as Annie trying not to be strict.
"I think it suits you well that way Cass see you get the idea faster now explore this next learning lesson of kickin it." Stephanie respond but Annie said something about Cass leaving her button shirt opened.
"Just let it go Annie Cassandra just trying to enjoy her first day at the beach." Tim said trying to ease off Annie worrying.
"Besides I can show you other cool things you can do here so try not get on edge okay sweetheart?" Tim explained as Annie looks at Cassandra as Cassandra gives her a okay sign letting her know she's fine now.
Annie turns around to Tim and smile at him.
"Okay Tim let's explore the beach together since Sister Cass already have a substitute teacher with her and her name is Stephanie. I hope that me and her can learn these customs as we have our fun."Annie respond wrap her arm around Tim's arm.
"Don't worry Annie. You guys can learn fast and besides looks like Cassandra already started the moment we not looking at her." Stephanie points at Cassandra buried a young teenage boy in the sand leaving follow his head for air but until she try to put a sand bucket on his hand so he can feel like being buried without any bad intentions.
"No Cassandra get the bucket of that guy's head it can suffocate him from air!!!" Stephanie shout coming to Cassandra who pulls the bucket off the boys head.
"Thanks it was feeling a little stuffy at the moment." He said as Cassandra put her head on his head since wrapping her arms around his neck can be impossible.
"You're welcome sir sorry I didn't know that can make it stuffy in there I was just having fun." Cassandra gets down on her toes saying that in front of the boy as he is caught at her physique and looks.
"Umm That's okay the name's Mason by the way." He said blushes
"Cassandra Cain nice to play with you in this activities I hope we can meet again soon maybe at the manor and I'm also heard of this place I'll be in called Gotham high school that's where my sister and her boyfriend goes sound okay?" Cassandra explained obvious at the idea of Mason head over heels for her.
"I am also going to be there that can work thanks for playing then." He said nonchalantly as Cassandra gets up.
"You're welcome just call if you need me to get you out of there." Cassandra said as she turns around and walks off with Stephanie smiling mischievous smile at what just happened.
"I think he likes you." She said playfully as Cassandra looks confused.
"Of course he does I just saved him what so crazy about that?" Cassandra asked.
"Oh you'll know when you see it let's say that's the first step of growing up in this age you'll see when you get a bit older. Just make sure you find the right one and don't sugar code it to Annie until you feel it's the right time okay? Now who's ready for some beach ball! Stephanie respond as she brings a flat multi colored big beach ball play with.
"Sure let's do it I'll be on land and you can try stay close to the sea I'll go easy on you."
Cassandra stated smiled at this game as she and Stephanie runs to the edge of the beach close to the water to play their game.
Meanwhile Annie and Maps are with Tim and Eric to get in the water but as Annie and Eric's toes touch the water they finch at first.
"Here let me get you up on my shoulder I'll let you know when it's time to get off Annie up you go." Tim said comfort smile at Annie let out his hand.
"Thank You Timmy hehehehehe." Annie playfully laughs as Tim holds her up then she gets on his shoulder being carried.
"Eric I know this can different than our time in your pool. But maybe I can try and make you feel okay I'm a good instinct for you in the water." Maps sweetly said to him as she gets to back hugging him.
"Thanks Maps I'm glad I get to rely on you dear woah calm down you're pretty strong."
Eric respond reaction to Maps push his legs and catch him by the back to carry him to the water.
Both couples have gently puts them in the water as Annie takes a deep breath and puts on her goggles.
"You're ready Timmy I'm going under okay? Here goes nothing." Annie said as she pinch her nose.
"Just remember to not stay underwater too long." Tim responds as Annie slowly goes underwater and Tim follows her in the sea they see how the water looks like as they sees little fishes and swimming with them.
The sea is such a majestic image while it's dark Annie taps Tim shoulder and points at a wonderful creatures known as Dolphins which makes Annie majestically watch the mammals swim by as long as Annie and Tim haven't see any sharks or squids. Until the Mystery Couple need some air and gets back up to the where they see Maps and Eric's legs.
"Hey look what we catch in the sea Eric! Live bait and a Mystery specimen that looks like the mystery couple." Maps said playfully as Annie takes it the wrong way.
"No wait Maps we are the Mystery Couple please don't send us to be in the gift shops or worst!" Annie begs trying to swim off the water until Tim swims in her way.
"She's only joking around Annie I doubt we'll be good price to place on a wall. Calm down easy, and try to get some air for a moment. Besides even if someone fishing here I doubt it can be a smart idea around this shore anyway." Tim responds as Annie clams down with a reminder of those Dolphins.
"Oh okay but you have a point about anyone try to catch them would be illegal since that sign says no fishing area allowed. Hi Maps and Eric have you take a look at those beautiful creatures that have fins like a shark but not mean and eating others like them!" Annie said happily as she goes back to Maps and Eric.
"Yeah I know Annie while you two underwater we seen one of them pop out and shoot some water from their blowhole on its head and they are actually seem non hostile to humans most likely."Eric explains
"As long as they don't see you as a threat or don't make them mad but you seem okay with them seen they don't hurt you." Maps finish Eric sentence as Annie rubs her chin until a beach ball hits her head as she barely react to it. But heard Stephanie calling her.
"Hey Annie can any of you guys come fetch me and your sister our ball back?!" Stephanie shout getting their attention.
"We'll go for it let's swim for it me and Eric vs Tim Drake and Annie Wayne!" Maps shouts back.
"Sounds fun but remember I'll still a beginner are swimming."Annie said as she gets her goggles tight so it don't fail off.
"Time to see how if my training in the pool pay off well we need a Ref." Eric respond
"What seems to be the catch perhaps I can be Referee at this race at this race while Stephanie and Cassandra can be spectators or my little sis can just start the race without any supervision." Kyle appears with a muscle shirt and a red shorts with Olive wraps her arms around his neck while he holding her. Maps starts the 3 to 1 count all ready as the kids swims off for the Beach ball.
"They're going off anyway, that's your sister and our friend." Olive said in snark manner
"This is going to be intense maybe we can join to see the action up close." Cassandra suggest as she goes closer to the water and takes off her white button shirt off to swim in water.
"And there's goes Cassandra with that determined attitude of hers and they say I always act first before setting down." Stephanie comments behind Cassandra's back as she sits down on the shore.
"So She's basically Annie's twin sister but different I read about her on the news. You think that she can be more like Annie due to their level but then again Maps and I are pretty different personality wise." Kyle said
"Every siblings has their differences and quirks. But now I know that even adopted siblings can be look alike yet act different as well. *sigh* Sometimes Maps and I are like sisters. She's always to one who keeps me remind that I'm not alone and I'm the straight line in the sisterly duo. Who knows, we can make it a thing for real someday." Olive seductive said to Kyle as she blushing, timidly sits with him lying her head on his shoulder.
"Sounds like what you are doing now if you think about it. You already seems like part of the family to me and her, my beloved little detective." Kyle said sweetly as he kiss Olive's forehead making her red as a apple.
"Mmm y-yeah I a good detective girl huh awww."Olive now covered her face in her skittishly fluster behavior takes over as she kissing him back and flops off the ground as Kyle giggles at her behavior.
"Don't worry she does it whenever we mention you in a way she'll get up soon." Heathcliff said while Olive is unaware of what they talking about.
"You should have seen her face when we asked about how's her valentines with you go she stutters like broken record." Carrie teased as Kyle enjoys to hear about the gang's time and Olive goes when it involved her habits as Stephanie listens in while her and Ace watching the rest in the water.
Meanwhile the Mystery Couple with Maps and Eric are almost off the shore trying to get the Beach ball, but sees something swimming under them.
"Did anyone feel something swim passed us like a big animal?" Maps asked Eric the Mystery Couple they nod their head yes only to see something hit the Beach ball off the water over their heads and lands behind them cause them to swim off back away from did that to get a good look at it.
"What was that guys?! I don't think I'm used to unidentified water individuals unless I have answers to what it was then the rest!" Eric asked in panic only to see a dark hump pop on the water.
"It must be the dolphin saying hello but like Maps is saying this is the time to leave now swim gang!" Annie shouted getting others to swim away with the Beach Ball away the from the dark hump creature following across the sea.
As the couples get to the sand with the Beach Ball the dark hump emerge up as everyone notice the humanoid skinny description of the creature reveal to be Cassandra Cain walking off the water like a horror sea monster man from a horror flick.
"Oh hey Sister Cass we thought you're a shark or monster sorry sis!"
Annie said as she hugs Cassandra and sighs in relief as Cassandra hugs her back and confused by the whole sea monster thing.
"I am just helping you guys with getting our ball back. I'm not a monster I'm a shark on anyone or anything that mess with you Sister Annie." Cassandra trying to make out a shark impassion open her teeth up and down making Annie giggle at her trying to be funny.
"Easy my sharky Cass. You already seem okay the way you are otherwise I could get more than one lifeguards to come take you to the Aquarium only joking." Kyle snark as Cassandra smiles at his words
"Well I prefer her to be a guardian mermaid angel, who protects her friends and no one will ever try to take her to the Aquarium unless she calls in home." Annie defends Cassandra.
"I am actually prefer being a shark and you're the mermaid but we can both be mermaids but we're the princess. The water here also feels like nice with the sun shining on it." Cassandra said happily at her sister.
"Well I'm glad you guys especially you had fun in here Sister Cass but I still lost at what to do in the beach until I have to plan thanks to the sand itself look at this place it's like snow and make sand angels, animals or make yourself a mermaid and cover your legs in sand the look like a mermaid and make this wonderful game call Tic Tac Toe." Annie explained.
"Annie once again you hit the nail on the head thanks for the ideas. Everyone why don't we have a sand art work before we leave tonight maybe until then we can go find some shells and decorated them if they are empty and used them for Tic Tac Toe." Tim stated to the gang as Annie is smiling and hugs Tim for thanking her as the rest are cheered.
"You're welcome Tim. But most of this is from us. All of us for being here and it's if wasn't for Sister Cass and Stephanie too even with all our flaws but geez I don't really know what happened hahaha." Annie said sweetly rubs her head.
"Hey don't sweat it Annie we're always here for you and this can be impossible if it wasn't for us meddling teens." Heathcliff respond but as the kids finally got Annie concluded her speech. They notice Ace behaviour heard him growl at a Cat walking by made Annie holds his leash.
"Easy Ace it's only a harmless Black Cat okay friend we don't want you to get in trouble please!" Annie said holding Ace and the leash to make sure he doesn't break from her grip. The Cat scold and make a hiss noise only to be interrupted by a familiar female voice.
"Now what have told you about picking fights with familiar faces." A woman with long black hair,green color eyes and a red two piece. As the cat goes up to her arms she noticed Tim,and Annie and smirks but not in a mischief way.
"Wait who's this lady? She looks awfully familiar in papers" Maps asked as everyone except Cassandra looked at the woman in suspension or weather stay should run,call Bruce or take action.
"That's the lady Daddy team up with well sometimes Selina Kyle! Nice to meet you."
Annie greets Selina seeing her as harmless.
"AKA the mistress of thief the Catwoman. What's the catch Selina you're pretty silent lately after Boyle got arrested which I'll give you credit for as long as you're not on the list okay?" Tim said in a serious tone as the Cat hiss at him.
"Don't get your feathers in a twist Timothy I'm only just taking a long vacation. Doctors orders until I get my leg back to the way they are with a little yoga and Analgesic medications. Plus if I ever think about being who I used to be I would be in worst physically shape by now if you get the picture." Selina explains as Cassandra seems to believe her after seeing her body language and sees the leg in a aching state but been tolerant by the Analgesic.
"She's telling the truth I can sense her leg was in a worst state the moments she have that injury at but as months pass she's recovering now and she's has no bad intentions so that it's all I read." Cassandra explained.
"You're serious well you heard the girl if Cassandra tell the truth then we all believed in you." Stephanie respond as Selina is surprise about Cassandra aware about her injury and her looks and the fact a child of Bruce rarely trusted her.
"Is she the new kid of the group I heard about? Now I can see what's with all the new rookies at the papers come from simply putting two to two together it's almost like she makes quite a resemblance to you Mrs Wayne or as I heard more from your recent situations. "Umm Miss Kyle are you literally a Cat person like a real Cat creature?" Maps asked while they still walking.

But seriously I'm not a Cat creature I'm just using the Catwoman outfit at least I used to as a method to hide myself in the shadows and was an ex mistress thief but I have also provides money for a campaign against animal cruelty and attacks those who wrong those creatures. Which lead to my conflict with tall brooding and handsome but we have our alliance." Selina answers

"Oh so that's why there's not so many cats around except one smart thinker."Maps responds as Olive looks at her in a captain obvious way.
" *sighs* Yes Maps that's why she has no cats around to avoid attention like us when it comes to not sticking out for attention like sore thumbs, but as a grown up with her own hands." Olive say in a sarcastic but respectful tone.
"Oh I see that why we don't have Bat signals like in the Rooftop of the GCPD Batman always goes to." Maps respond

You both have fire in your eyes to make a difference, both of you have a heart of gold but stubborn at times when it comes to letting others help especially when it comes to facing special adversaries, have disguise yourselves as billionaire pretty faces that Gotham only see you both as. Both like to jumping on rooftops and catch maniacs and have such smooth unique charms with others and mostly spouses even if you both not trying. But most importantly you both have offer something good for Gotham which is why everyone in the city so felt with a impact and somethings make enemies too and sidekicks." Selina explained as Annie and everyone is shocked at Selina good points.
"Oh my god that is so true with a little distinction." Tim thought to himself smiling.
