Title: Found Out
Disclaimer:
None of these people are mine. I'd be really odd to collect
people.
Summary:
Elliot watches a reunion
a/n: my
turn.
Liv was engrossed in trying to convince Casey of something, so that's why I saw her first. The blonde head moving towards us caught my eye immediately, but I think I'd recognize Alex anywhere.
She was marching down the hall, with two very fresh-faced lawyers trying to keep up. Time seemed to slow down as she got nearer. I didn't see Liv look up, but I felt it when their eyes connected. Everything stopped.
Liv couldn't keep the shock from her eyes, and I fought the urge to reach out and close her mouth.
Alex had a strangely defensive look to her, like she'd been caught stealing from the cookie jar.
Liv recovered first,
"Alex."
It came out softly, but anyone could hear the love in her voice. Alex lost her panic and closed the space between them immediately, gripping Liv in a fierce hug. They just stood there, holding each other. They started whispering, but nothing I could make out. Not that I wanted to.
When they broke apart they still stood together. Liv just looked at me, but I knew what she was asking.
"Go on," I said, smiling. I jabbed Casey in the side and her mouth snapped shut.
"Nothing we can't do tomorrow," she managed to say. Nodding, Liv turned and she and Alex disappeared around the corner.
The sound of the elevator doors closing broke the spell. For the first time I noticed the two lawyers Alex had left behind. The brunette and I shared a satisfied smile, while the guy next to her seemed be grasping for straws. She clamped a hand down on his shoulder,
"Come on, Nick, let's go fix your case," she said and pulled him away.
Casey just blinked at me,
"Did that just happen?" she asked me. I just laughed and started walking again. Casey would have to catch up.
the end :)
