Sonic slowly regained consciousness from his forced sleep, after a tsunami made his and Tails' boat take on water. He looked around for Tails, but could only see wreckage, until he heard a scream from above. When he looked up, he saw Tails being taken away by a flying monster, screaming.
"Don't worry Tails! I'll save you!" "How about you save yourself first?" "Wha'd you mean?" Sonic said before looking behind, seeing a giant monster. "Now is the time I start running... fast." Sonic said before running fast.
Sonic kept avoiding obstacles which include rocks, water, more monsters etc. Until he saw a giant rock in-front of him. He thought it would be the end of him, until he saw someone above him.
