It was a bright sunny day at the academy and the three friends were spending the time under the shade of a tree. Cassy was reading Gus was asleep on a tree branch and Vern was just sitting there doing nothing until Cassy noticed something was wrong.
"Hey what's wrong Vern" asked Cassy closing her book.
"Can we ever win?" Vern sighed almost whispering.
"What do you mean morty?" Yawned Gus waking up from his nap.
"Who do we think were kidding we can never beat Zarlack" Vern stated.
"What are you talking about? We beat Zarlack all the time" Gus corrected jumping from the tree.
"We stop his plans and run from him. The rest of time he tries to blast us" Vern sighed.
Gus opened his mouth to correct Vern again but then but then drooped his shoulders and sighed "Maybe your right" he sighed sadly.
"Come on remember the power of three" Cassy said.

"You're right Cassy. I can't give up just because Zarlack is powerful. As long as we stick together there's nothing we can't do" Vern said proudly.
"That's right Vern. Never give up." Cassy confirmed.
"Now that the doubts have been cleared up. Pipe! Down! And let me sleep!" Gus yelled getting back up on the tree branch and went back to sleep as Cassy and Vern begin to laugh.
