Author's Note: This just a dumb little thing I whipped up, after the recent H-Evo 2 reveal.

It had been a quiet few weeks around fortress warsaw home to the experimental combat unit ACID, no Vodarac terror attacks, no Eureka's tearing into a nearby city. For once the unit's pilot's could rest except one of them was still quite restless.

"Okay this is it." A small pink haired girl spoke hesitantly. "I'm going to tell him how I feel." Her eyes full of worry as she looked at the stuffed animal she was talking to.

"Don't be stupid Gulliver just because he's not human doesn't mean he can't feel love right?, and we've been through so much together, so he has to feel the same way." The girl said determinedly, Guliver sat motionless as inanimate objects tend to do.

"Well I don't care what you think I'm doing it anyway!" She yelled at the stuffed doll ending the "conversation" with her doll.

The girl in question was Anemone pilot of The End, Leader of ACID's pilot corps and slayer of rampaging Eureka's, but the agents of the insidious enemy lurking below the planet's crusts, seemed much less terrifying than confronting Dominic at the moment.

She gazed over at the young military man and already felt her heart begin to race at the mere sight of him.

Slowly she began to walk over to the man standing stock still like a robot, appropriate because that's what he was. Yes she fell for a robot, it might seem strange to a outside observer but Dominic had always been their for her ever since her father died seven years ago. Stoicly supporting her, she would have gone mad a long time ago without him. Putting her back together after (the few times) a mission went wrong. Plus he was pretty cute.

They had been human and machine standing together against a hostile alien intelligence, defeating it countless times, but maybe her luck wouldn't last forever, She doubted she could survive another battle of Ferres. If she was to die she wanted to go without regrets.

She came to a stop in front of the android, looking into his green eyes, he was remarkably lifelike for a machine.

Trying desperately not to melt under his gaze she began to speak. "Uh Dominic we've known each other for a long time right, well you've done so much for me, and I've grown really attached to you emotionally and I-I guess what I'm trying to say is... I love you." Finally saying those words felt like a massive weight being lifted from her chest.

She waited for his response eagerly. He opened his mouth. "BEEP BOOP WHAT IS LOVE? BEEP BOOP" a shrill robotic voice emitted from his mouth speakers.

She suddenly heard the sound of something shattering into a million pieces, it was probably her hopes and dreams.

"W-wait you don't know what love is." She said mouth hanging open in disbelief.

"CORRECT YOUNG MEATBAG" he screeched whirling his arms around like a prop from a pre-exodus b-movie.

"B-but what about all the cute cyborg babies we could've had?."

"ILOGICAL HUMAN'S AND ANDROIDS CANNOT BREED AND PRODUCE OFFSPRING, DOES NOT COMPUTE!" he stated logically and loudly, very very loudly.

"Stupid robot!" She screamed in rage, kicking at him, then wincing in pain when her foot connected with hard metal.

After hopping in place for a moment, she ran off in the direction of the LFO hangars, holding back tears.

"Hey Anemone, where are you off to? there's no attack's happening." A girl with a blonde bowlcut, shoved aside by the angry pilot shouted after her.

"Shut the hell up coconut head, don't you think I know that, I'm just going to go crush some scub." Anemone shouted back at her, as she continued to run away ignoring "Coconut head's" angered objections.
