The Seer looked up and saw his icy blue eyes, his blond hair. "It wasn't your fault. T'was mine. I didn't run fast enough." He fixed a hair behind her ear and pressed his ghostly lips against hers. Just this once, she believed him.

"Yes, but I should've done something more!" She punched the bed and ended up sitting on the floor.

"You already did; You warned us," he said.

"I should've done something."

Now, Irnai held his hand, tears flowing freely. Seeing the future didn't ease the pain. Knowing didn't ease the pain. When you're out there, in the real setting, nothing can ease the pain of losing Tobe.
