A/N: Just a sort drabble that wouldn't leave me alone. I posted it on tumblr already, but I thought I'd share it here as well. Also, for my readers of You Will Find It All Unraveled, I know I owe an update! Don't worry, there will be a new chapter up tomorrow :) But anyway, I hope you all enjoy this little diddy as well.

Apple Pie Kisses

Regina didn't allow herself to think about it that much.

When Regina trailed burning kisses down the soft expanse of Emma's neck, she held her breath.

Emma always smelled (and tasted, for that matter) of cinnamon.

And, when both taste and scent assailed her at once, she found herself drowning. It was too much.

Her tongue would tickle pleasantly against Emma's skin, and the aroma would sneak up her nose to invade her mind, creating thoughts that were best left for someplace like fairy-tale land. Someplace she needed to forget.

So, Regina stopped breathing Emma in. It certainly made it easier to kick her out the window every night.

She could handle everything else, she told herself. The way Emma gasped against Regina's shoulder, the way her muscles fluttered under Regina's nimble fingers. How, when they kissed, Regina's apple chap-stick fused with that damned flavor of cinnamon that Emma couldn't shake, and it was richer than any turnover she'd ever made.

Emma would smirk and call them 'Apple Pie Kisses,' and Regina would narrow her eyes and call her foolish because they weren't any sort of kisses that were anything at all – they were nothing, Regina told herself.

Nothing, like the way she wished she felt when pressed against the Sheriff.

Sometimes though, she'd give in and tuck her nose into the crook of Emma's neck and just inhale; she always shuddered, the fix of the blonde's scent threatening to overwhelm her – her entire being, her every thought – before pulling away to keep herself from fully tumbling off the edge.

Because Regina couldn't allow herself to think too much about it. For, if she did, she'd have to admit that apples and cinnamon had become her favorite combination.
