Originally I've been planning to write some Cam x Lillian stuff since day by day, non-stop I see Ash x Lillian which I'm slowly becoming tired of. Now I find myself writing a small fluff of the two.

Oh well, if this pleases people than that's all that matters. (Ash is my 4th favorite bachelor for the game behind Cam, Dirk, and Mikhail since I've seen a lot of others with his personality) I think Ash is cute! I won't lie. He was my 2nd choice when I moved to Bluebell, but Cam's flower events stole my heart. I'm actually considering marrying Ash on one of my files for my 3DS version.

Please don't leave too harsh of reviews, I'm still a beginner when it comes to writing Harvest Moon stories. But, I'll try my best to improve.

From Heartbreak to Laughter

"Lillian, you're supposed to be helping me with the sheep!" Ash said, not taking his eyes away from the nearly naked sheep. With the cold, sharp metal shears in his hands he continued to cut the fluffy pink wool and letting it fall onto the wooden floor.

It was early in the morning when Ash had posted a request asking for help with tending to the sheep so he wouldn't have to worry about Cheryl having trouble tomorrow. Thankfully, Lillian had taken the request without hesitation and rushed over to help. But now, she's playing more than helping.

Taking a glance over his shoulder he looked for the said brunette but she was nowhere to be found in the barn, only the animals and a pile of wool. His lips formed a frown and his heart sunk as he made the assumption that she had ditched him. He shook his head to be rid of the thought, he knew for a fact after knowing Lillian for three years now that she wasn't that type of person! So to prove the assumption wrong, he called out her name. "Lillian, are you there?"

When three seconds passed, a sigh escaped his lips. He put his attention back on the sheep that was now looking into his saddened eyes as if asking him what was wrong. Ash forced a smile to reassure the sheep that he was okay when truly he felt broken-hearted. He then softly patted the sheep's head.

"Hey Ash!" His eyes widened as he almost fell off the stool he was sitting on, but he felt suddenly happy when he realized the voice belonged to Lillian. He rapidly turned his head, but yet again he saw nothing until Lillian's head popped out of the pile of wool. "Look," He raised his eyebrow as she disappeared into the pile of wool before coming back out in nearly a split second later. "I have a wooly beard!" There was now pink wool all over her chin and mouth, nearly covering the whole lower part of face. Although it was hard to see, she was smiling brightly apparently amused with herself.

Ash couldn't hold back as he fell onto the floor and laughed like a hyena at her strawberry pink beard that looked like Santa Claus's beard had been put into a washing machine mixed with the red fabrics. He continued to laugh till his head started to feel light. "Ah… Aaah… Lillian… you're so silly, maybe even sillier than Cheryl!"

"That's my job!"
