Sunshine Memories
(A small one shot I did during school)
Morning came, the sun rose slowly and steadily over the dusty peaks; while shadows danced across the lawn and over a castle. It was always like this, but only for a few short minutes. After those minutes were gone so was the sun, hiding it's face behind dark black clouds- the shadows that had danced a crossed the lawn now covered the land; the world.
Deidara starred longingly at where the sun had once shone so brightly, he wished that Leader would make it sunny- just for one day. One was all he needed to remember, remember him. Perhaps today he would ask Leader, perhaps…
"I love the sun, it always makes me think I can feel the warmth- the ray's of light on my back…It kind of makes me wish… I could feel it- just once. Just once more to remember that feeling. The feeling of a mortal- of a human…"
Sasori had told him that on a sunny day, just like the one that would have had existed if not for the black rain clouds. It was Deidara's favorite memory.
Yes, today he would ask Leader, today was his day to be with Danna- just once more. To remember that feeling, the of an artist.
