Mikka clutched her trembling brother to her chest as she heard another glass break. She wished it would end already. She didn't Anori to get scared. Mikka kissed her siblings soft blonde hair.
"Please don't cry Nori. It'll be over soon. Just please, don't cry. Please."
Mikka jumped as the door to her room was opened abruptly, her drunken stumbling father entering. She immediately hid her brother underneath the blankets and begged him to be quiet. Her father Askil grabbed her by hair.
"You little slut!" he screamed and slapped her; leaving a large red hand print.
"This is all your fault! Dammit! You little fucker!" He then punches her repeatedly, then suddenly stops.
"Where is he, you little bitch? I know he's in here. Don't lie to me girl!" He threw her to the ground.
"Tell me no-"
Mikka woke up sweating with Anori grasping her arm.
" Are you okay Sis? You were screaming again so I tr-" He stopped when Mikka buried her face in his chest.
"It was the dream again wasn't it?" he asked and she nodded her head. Anori sighed.
"Don't worry, he can't get you anymore. He's gone, he'll never touch you again. I promise."
