My first poetry fanfic? Niceeee. Anyways, more Phibby x Gateaux stuff. This is told in Gateaux’s point of view. The title is taken after the Melanie Martinez song of the same name, which inspired me to write this.

I don't need to sleep with a pet.

Many of them see me as a threat.

I don't want a sleepover.

Because every time I do have one, many guests make me want the party to be over.

I don't need a typical teddy bear.

I already have one that I won't spare.

Oh, sweet precious Phibby.

Your amazing skippy personality makes me happy enough.

But you're also so calming and peaceful at bedtime.
