I learned these words so long ago. Then they meant so much, I said them four times a day. With honor and respect I tried to live them. They carried me throughout 18 years. Then slowly they lost there meaning, as science gave me meaning. Soon if I said them four times a week, if I was lucky. Soon, I stopped saying them. Then in a second my life was changed. I turned to science, not willing to turn to these words. No w I know Science can't save me, and I can't save myself. So I turned back to God and Matthew 6:5-15. The saving, God powered words of: As you taught us to pray: In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Sprit, Our Father who art in heaven, hallow be thy name, thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, Give us today our daily bread, and Forgive us not our debts as we forgive our debtors, and leads us not intom temptation, but deliver us from evil, In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Sprit, Amen. I prayer I remember, always, from the little, redheaded preschooler, who led Grace at the dinner table, with it to a middle-aged doctor, with cancer.
