Disclaimer: I don't own PJO or Enchanted.
AN: So HERE I AM! With yet ANOTHER Taylor Swift song-inspired oneshot! Today's featured song is, drum roll please, ... ENCHANTED! And the featured couple will be ... JASPER! I think this song really, REALLY fits them and what Piper goes through. Poor Pipes. Even though I kinda want Jason to end up with Reyna...
Oh and before I forget, I wanna give a special shoutout to TheWalrusSingsAtMidnight26! That's Lex's (xXxDaughteroftheKingxXx) and Max's (musiclover99) joint account. You might be familiar with their separate stories and their joint account is doing very well also! Their story To Be A Friend just got nominated for the PJO Fandom Awards in the Friendship category! Now, without later due, ZHEEEE STORY!
Please don't be in love with someone else.
Piper sat alone in the mess hall. Lately, she didn't want many people around her. Ever since they came back from their stupid quest to save stupid Hera, things between her and Jason got worse. He seemed much more distant.
He told her he had started to remember some things about his past. Said there were some names that came to mind ... Gwen, Bobby, Hazel, Dakota, Reyna. Piper tried not to let that get to her head, but the way he said Reyna made her think ... what if Reyna was his girlfriend? Or at least his crush? She couldn't help but cry at the thought of losing Jason.
You never had him, a voice inside her mind spoke, He was never yours. The voice was right. Who did she think she was? Jason was never hers.
Someone at the Roman Camp could've been losing her mind worrying about Jason, like Annabeth with Percy.
She was so, so selfish to want Jason all to herself. But she couldn't help but fall in love with him.
Damn you, Mom. Damn you, Hera. Damn you, Fates, she thought.
Why was this happening to her? What did she do to deserve this? She needed to think. She needed to make a plan - oh how she sounded like Annabeth - a good plan.
Her only option ... she needed to get away. Not from camp, from Jason. It was horrible seeing him. I mean, his eyes would just melt her. That smile, and that hair. Damn, he was one hot son of Zeus.
Shut up, she told herself, you're acting like your half-sisters. Yeah, she needed to be as far away from him as possible. Maybe she'd eventually forget about him. Maybe she'd move on.
She turned quickly when she thought she saw Jason coming, but it was just a satyr.
She sighed, who was she kidding? It was impossible to forget Jason Grace. But she could at least hope. Hope he didn't have someone waiting for him.
Please don't have somebody waiting on you.
