summary: Naruto muses on how his wife is one of the strongest people he knows.
The rokudaime hokage lay on his bed next to his wife thinking. Never in his life did he think he would marry the shy wall flower Hyuga Hinata. She had grown into one of the most beautiful women in Konoha. More beautiful than Ino or Sakura in his eyes. But he didn't fall in love with her for her looks, no. It was her strength. Hinata was probably one of the strongest people he knew. Many would over look it because of her shy, sweet nature but Naruto knew she was truly strong. From the time they were young she would sit the back of the class shyly playing with her fingers. Back then Naruto had thought it was weird but now it was adorable. Hinata didn't do it anymore, not with how confident she had grown to become. She was a jewel, a quiet confident kunoichi who could defend her title. She no longer needed the approval of her own clan to do what she pleased. Hinata, even when she was a little she was looked down on for being gentle and shy. Always verbally abused, no one could hit her physically because who would lay a hand on the clan head's daughter. They beat her with words until Hinata began to accept those words as true. But despite that she pushed through, never givng up, never giving in fully, always fighting back, her entire family against her and still she pushed through. Soon she didn't need their approval, she didn't accept them either. She shunned them like they did her and moved out of the clan building. They couldn't brand her because she was still part of the main branch family, Hanabi was made clan head and Hinata didn't care, it was the final blow that showed them that their words and titles meant nothing to her. Naruto was so proud the day she told the old farts to shove it. He was so proud of what she had grown to become. Naruto looked at his sleeping wife with a loving smile. She was strength of the heart personified, she was love and she was beauty and that was why Naruto fell for the lavender eyed goddess in the first place. Like the sun she would keep shining on, even when clouds blocked her way she would shine on.
