"Well, Sango, Miroku, Inuyasha, Shippo, I'm going home now. I have a 2 day midterm exams coming up, and Inuyasha, if I get below class average, you are so dead. So don't you dare come looking for me! "Kagome said to her companions. "Oh, shut your yap, there's no way I would ever, come looking for you." Inuyasha answered.
With that, Kagome jumps into the old well that connects here to the modern world and feudal Japan.
Kagome's POV
What is this? Why is there a different light than the usual shade of blue? The colour is red, scorching red, as if it's going to burn me up… Yet, it almost feels warm, as if embracing me?
Suddenly, a surge of water rushes in towards Kagome, she felt as if she was going to drown, but there's no way Kagome was going to drown in some water, not when Naraku was still up in his schemes, so she's urged forward, using her complete strength to go back against the force of the water. But her efforts proved to be futile, Kagome's legs felt limp and she couldn't move them! Soon, her energy was being sucked out as Kagome was flushed away with the water. "Is this how I'm going to die? Just being drowned by water?. Pathetic." Kagome thought as she drifted into unconsciousness.
"Ka-go-me, Ka-go-me~" Huh? Someone is calling me, is it Shota? I'll bet he's calling me for dinner. Better get up then, as I opened my eyes, I saw Shippo instead in the middle of darkness, "Kagome! You can't sleep now! We still have to defeat Naraku! Get up!" Huh? What do you mean get up? I'm already up. Kagome looked back to Shippo to ask him, but he vanished. What? Where did he go? Suddenly, a surge of light came in the darkness, as a moth to a flame, Kagome followed it.
