This is just a quick, very short one shot. It's been in my head for a while and this morning I finally got around to writing it out.
Hope you all enjoy it :) And many thanks in advance for reading it ;)

Someone Special.
"Grandma?"
"Yes, Mia?" Clarisse answered while lifting her head, looking at her Granddaughter as she sat in the chair across the desk from her.
"Can I ask you something?" Mia asked.
"Of course." Clarisse nodded and looked back down at her paperwork.
"Well," Mia started and watched as Clarisse slowly looked back up at her "I have been here many times over the past couple years, and I have always wondered why you have a bottle of perfume on your desk?" She asked and watched as Clarisse's eyes shifted from her to the bottle of perfume sat on her desk.
"Well," Clarisse started while leaning forward and carefully lifted the bottle up "Someone special gave it to me, many years ago." She said smiling at the bottle then up at Mia "This is my favorite perfume, I never even opened it."
"Someone special?" Mia asked as Clarisse nodded "As in Grandpa?" She asked and watched as Clarisse slowly nodded.
"Yes, Grandpa." She said and smiled across at her while placing the bottle back down with a small content sigh.
"That's so cute, and it obviously meant a lot to you for you too keep it." Mia smiled.
"Oh it does mean a lot to me." Clarisse smiled across at her while nodding "It means more than you will ever know." She added while looking down at her paperwork.
Mia smiled as she sat watching her Grandma, trying to focus back on the paperwork.
"I heard you and Mia talking earlier?" Came a deep husky voice from the doorway leading to her bedroom.
"About the perfume?" Clarisse answered while turning to face the man who now made his way across the room to her stood by the french doors in her suite.
"Yes." He said smiling as he stood in front of her "Why didn't you tell her?"
"Because," She started and watched as he gently took hold of her hand and lowered his head to kiss the back of her hand "What she doesn't know, won't hurt." She answered and smiled as he raised his head "Well not yet anyway, she's just getting used to me being in her life, I really don't want to confuse her and tell her it was you who gave me the perfume, and not her Grandfather."
"But it was many years ago, you were with Rupert when I gave you that gift." He said while stepping closer, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"I know. You gave it to me as a friend of course, but you to me now, are someone special and I really don't think she needs to know that yet." She answered while putting her arms up, wrapping them around his shoulders.
"Okay, I see your point." He smiled and kissed her a couple times "You look beautiful by the way." He whispered.
"Thank you, you look rather handsome yourself." She smiled while tilting her head a little.
"Thanks." He smiled and looked into her eyes "Are you ready to go down to the ball?"
"Not really, I would much prefer to stay up here with you..." She said stepping back "But I can't disappoint my people." She said with a sigh and looked up at him.
"Soon, my love. Soon." He whispered in her ear while extending his arm towards the door "After you." He grinned as she put her hand up, cupping his cheek.
"Thank you, Joseph." She smiled and started leading the way. Biting her bottom lip as she felt him place his hand gently on her lower back, like he always done.
The End.
