E/O Challenge: "Ankle"

Surreptitious
Sam's gotten rusty on the part of the hunt that involves being stealthy. First there's his echoing sneeze when they're tracking some creature in the sewers. Then he yelps (loudly) when a squirrel passes them. So when Dean hears the crack behind him, he loses it a little.
"Honestly, Sam?"
"What?"
"Do you have to step on every twig in the forest?"
"I didn't!"
"Did too!"
"Did not! That was my ankle cracking."
"Sam, ankles do not make that noise."
"Well…mine do." He pauses. "I've had some… joint issues since I finished growing."
"Whatever, princess."
"Jerk."
"Noisy friggin' Sasquatch bitch."
