What if ... Hook wants at least some reward from Emma in his attempt to save her. Emma and Hook meet in the cavern. Episode 3x22.

Dashing Rescue

"You guys know a way to get out of here?" Emma asks - as they all are still in the cave.

"Follow me," Red responds, confidently.

Red and Charming turn around to leave immediately.

Hook and Emma glance and smile at each other briefly - as Marian approaches her.

"Thank you, Leia," Marian thanks her, tone kind, lowering her head slightly, and then follows the rest.

Hook stares at her, incredulous. "Swan, you didn't," he says, tone tired, but is quickly interrupted by Emma's explanation.

"She was supposed to be executed in the morning … I couldn't just leave her there to die," she explains, shamefaced - as Charming observes them from afar and walks over to them.

"Actually, if she was ..." Hook starts.

"I don't want to break up your reunion, but we have to keep moving," Charming says, gently, stopping their disagreement.

"Yeah," Emma replies.

Charming turns around and goes away. Emma is about to do the same, but Hook grabs her arm, gently.

"Wait there, Swan!" Hook exclaims, gently.

"What? We have no time, we have to get out of …" Emma barely says.

Hooks pulls her towards him and steals a sweet-passionate kiss from her lips, but breaks apart, quickly, leaving her impressed - and wanting more.

Emma remains with her eyes closed - as their foreheads press together.

"What was that about?" Emma asks softly, opening her eyes slowly - gaining time to steady herself.

"You might be right when you said you're the only one who can save your life, love," Hook declares, stroking gently her cheeks - and adds winking at her - "but it doesn't mean I don't deserve anything in my attempt of a 'dashing rescue' "

She blushes a little bit, but doesn't respond anything to him - he takes a step back.

"Now, shall we, Swan?" Hook asks, naturally and flirtatiously, gazing at the exit.

Emma smiles and shakes her head slightly - with that both return to the plan, leaving the cave.

I know this is short, but it was just something in my mind I couldn't let pass by xD
