Just a quick bit I wrote up for DriftWood1965. He asked for a riddle for the Sphinx, that had the answer of "WAR". So I threw this together. I may add to it later.
"Man at his best;
Man at his worst.
Striving for life, while
striving for death.
Both of them right, and
both of them wrong;
to determine who's right,
figure out who's left."
either that or
"Man at his best,
Man at his worst.
Striving for life, while
striving for death.
Both of them right, and
both of them wrong;
when the answer's the same,
for 'Who's right?' and 'Who's left?'."
I think I like the second one better. But I'll keep at it, and I may add more lines.
