Honey I'm Home
"Merlin!" Arthur yelled closing the door to their apartment, "Babe!" He sighed, he was tired and wanted his fiancé. He walked to their shared bedroom and fell into bed. It felt good to be off his feet. He slipped off his shirt and tie and lay on his stomach. He closed his eyes and felt a warm, wet body pressed against his back.
"Hey Arthur," Merlin cooed. Arthur turned over and saw Merlin in just his jeans, and dripping everywhere.
"Why are you wet?" Arthur asked. Merlin grinned.
"It's a little thing I like to call a shower Arthur. I heard you come in," Merlin kissed Arthur's forehead. When he pulled back his nose was wrinkled. "Arthur you smell like burnt rubber and motor oil."
"The car broke down. The oil was low and my tire blew out," he said closing his eyes. "The perfect end to a wretched day."
"Turn onto your stomach," Merlin said.
"Why?"
"Just do it."
"Alright, alright." Arthur turned onto his stomach and Merlin sat straddling Arthur's hips. He started to massage Arthur's muscles and a sound of approval came from Arthur.
"What happened that was so bad?" Merlin asked.
"Well I was late this morning because someone let me sleep in," Arthur said. "Uther griped at me and when I tried to apologize and explain he went completely red. The copier broke and I had to fix it because Morgana left it there, again. Everything that could go wrong did." Arthur pouted and yelped when Merlin pressed down in-between his shoulder blades.
"What?" Merlin asked.
"That hurt!" Arthur said.
"Stop being a baby Arthur," Merlin said rubbing Arthur's shoulders more gently. "It sounds like a horrid day love."
"I'm just tired. I hate my job!" Arthur said. "It's so mundane!"
"There's no need to shout. I'm right here," Merlin said throwing his arms around Arthur's neck and laying on his fiancé's back. Merlin kissed Arthur's jaw lightly. "You really need to take a shower."
"Only if you come with me," Arthur said.
"I've already taken one."
So you'd rather dry off alone then take a shower with me?" Arthur asked, "You put your cleanliness before my needs?"
"Fine!" Merlin said getting up, "But you're buying our drinks when we go out tonight!"
"I'm fine with that," Arthur said stripping to his boxers.
