The world is cold. Inside, I feel small pain.

He and I still live; with me all alone.

A boy tries to talk me, I abstain.

I can't involve more, I need to atone.

"I have none to say." but he still persists.

She is in pain, that I can clearly see.

She won't let me try to free her from this.

I ask...why? Is there something you can't breathe?

When will he stop spending his time with her?

You should only look at me, not that girl.

I know you more, but it's her you prefer?

It's her you love, not me? Since she's a pearl.

I explain to her, before she makes my mistake.

She and I reconcile, for the first time,

I'm happy, like from a bad dream I wake.

The day brightens, and the bells start to chime.

This sonnet is about the song "ReAct," the answer song to ACUTE. I did this in the ABAB CDCD (etc.) rhyme scheme. I used Shakespeare's "formula," although I'm sure that there really is no such thing. xD It's pretty much why there are 14 lines, similar to that to the sonnet in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. For some reason, I decided to restrict myself to 14 lines because of said play. Anyway, thank you for reading, and keep watch for the next poem!
