I am so excited because my prologue for the is finally up on the website even though I submitted it a while ago.
Also, this is the first chapter of "The Realm of the Shinigami" and that is exciting too.
CHAPTER 1~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Awwww... Another boring day of school, then a boring dinner, then a boring sleep. My life is so boring. Why can't...RUNO GET UP! YOU HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL! Please mom, just let me skip school today. I know everything they're teaching. I know everything I need to know until I'm a senior. Please let me skip school today! "Well don't you like to "hang" with your friends and have fun?" said mom. Runo thought, "I had a ton of friends until I moved to this lame private school that has a bunch of snobby jerks. Well, I guess some of them are nice, but still, they all want to hang out with the snobby
"popular" kids in hopes that they can be popular.
"RUNO! RUNO! Are you paying any attention to what I am saying?" yelled mom. "Fine. I'll go to school." angrily said Runo. Junior-High
Runo went to Yule Junior-High School and pretty much hated it. The students, the school, the teachers, even the food. (Well, Runo didn't really like to eat. She thought it's a waste of time. You could be doing something way more important. Just eat one Nutri-Grain bar and you'll be alright for the day.) Runo had ghost white skin, (since she did more indoor things) dark blue hair, close to black but still dark blue, and was Valedictorian of the Elementary and Middle School. Runo was five foot four inches, sixty-nine pounds, and really skiny. She had baby blue eyes that made any one in the right mind happy to see them. She was a generally happy person, but not very happy at Yule.
Everybody at Yule was mean to Runo, including the teachers. The teachers hated Runo because it was obvious she belonged in college. When Ms. Shallow, the meanest teacher ever, gave an impossible pop-quiz that had fifty questions on it and everybody in the whole grade got at the maximum two questions right, (which is a 4%) Runo got every single one correct, (which is a 100%) Ms. Shallow was infuriated, because that was a Yale college entrance exam! How was it possible an eleven year old 7th grader got a perfect score on a college entrance exam that even the Valedictorian at Yale hadn't gotten?
Runo went to school and the usual things happened. She was tripped by Sayu Murata, one of the most popular girls in the grade. Then, she had won a giant three pound chocolate bar in science for being able to recite the whole periodic table of elements clearly within forty seconds, but she gave it back to the teacher since she didn't like to eat much anyways. After that, she went to lunch and gave her lunch to someone else. Runo got another 100% on a math test. Runo ran home, crying, just like she did everyday because of the cruelty done to her.
