This is just a neat little thing I was experimenting with to test my writing abilities - been out of English all summer now, should brush up on it.
Not really intending to develop this further; this is just a fun little piece of story I thought I would give a go.
Would LOVE reviews and any constructive bashing!!

I had been dreading this moment. This very moment, when I would "formally" notify my best friend…
I can't.
No.
I can't… it will hurt too much!
But will it hurt him even more not to send it? Will it hurt him even more than that to not have him welcomed? Huh. Like being uninvited would stop him.
I made an abrupt and shaky laugh at the thought.
My eyebrows furrowed together in unwillingness… because I do know what would hurt him the most - Him not being the one to write these invitations with me, and Him not being the one waiting for me at the end of the velvet carpet. Most of all; Him not being the one with me.
It's so selfish that I need him there, for his friendship and support. But who am I kidding? He is much more than a friend, and there would be many other gestures emitting from him rather than support…
"Whenever you are ready, Bella" Edward's melodic and contained voice easing my sporadic thoughts momentarily.
I glanced over to his understanding face, showing no hint of impatience or disappointment. Trailing down from his eyes, the small wooden wolf hanging from my wrist caught my attention.
With one deep breath, and a wince of agony seizing my heart as I squeezed the ballpoint pen, I began to scrawl ink on the face of the sealed letter.
