Author's Note
Ok so here's a story that just randomly popped into my head last night. I will try to add a chapter as soon as possible. I hope you like it and please review if you can x
Here I was in a tent on top of a snowy mountain somewhere, waiting for a fight that would change my life forever. I'll tell you it's not the best time to realise you're in love with your best friend. Especially when you're clinging on to him in a tiny sleeping bag whilst he's whispering sweet little nothings in your ear encouraging you to sleep. Not forgetting to mention the fact your boyfri—no sorry fiancé is in the same tent giving the love of your life looks that could kill. Oh joy...
Anyway getting back to the whole realising I love Jacob thing, yeah it wasn't really a thing, more of a amazing, fluttery, light-headed feeling that bounced throughout my entire body whenever I was around him. That feeling had my body going crazy at this very moment.
"Bells" Jacob's deep voice vibrated through my bones.
"Jake" I answered back weakly. I was tired, yet I couldn't sleep. Too many worries and questions were crammed into my head confusing me even further.
"I've just realised what you remind me of." My breath got stuck in my throat as his hot breath hit the top of my head.
"What?" I whispered.
"A snowflake" He replied, almost as quietly as me.
"Well, cold yes, melts under a little heat and floats around uselessly. Thanks Jake."
Sarcasm. Another thing Edward, let's face it, hated me using. I could practically feel his disapproving glare burning through the back of my head.
"Hell no Bells! I meant unique, beautiful, something everyone wishes for"
I heard Edward snort behind me and ignored him hoping he'd get the message. Jacob had warmed me up now in more ways than one. I could feel his warmth radiating out of his body, just like a sun I once said, and I could feel the comforting heat shining out of his heart into mine.
