- Her grandmother taught her that.

The Bonkura-zu
Are Osaka, Kagura,
And Tomo of course.
Who else can get further down
Than bottom of the whole class?

10.Tanka.
Chiyo 'volunteers'
To be the bad-weather doll
- Hang her upside-down!
At least Tomo lets her wear
Tights instead of just pantsu!

11.Haiku.
Graduation Day
- Chiyo wins the Special Prize.
Cheers led by...? Tomo!

Girl in hat, big girl
With cat - eyes looking at you
Under brim with smiles.

"Beware Of The Cat"
- There really should be a sign.
To bite Sakaki,
Kamineko, biting cat,
God of all cats, lays in wait.

Chiyo-chan's pigtails
Are controlled by aliens
- They help her to fly.
Osaka wants to save her
But mistakes could be fatal.

Her eyes wide open
Osaka-san is dreaming.
Awake, or asleep?
How can you possibly tell
- She looks the same either way!

Don't say 'Hokkaido'
In front of Yukari-chan
- That way lies madness.
Any mention of snow-crabs
Would just cause her to explode!

Claims eight whole centimetres
To race Sakaki.
The 'cool' girl leaves her standing
- She fails to even finish!
