Rosalie has always been vain. This is just a statement of fact, like saying the sky is blue or grass is green.
So how would Rosalie feel when suddenly everyone is looking away from her to stare at a stranger in town?
Let's find out!
[Inspired by "Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On"]
Rosalie was sitting with Emmett in one of the few restruants in Forks, Washington. She noticed the way the other men glanced at her out of the corner of there eyes and reveled in it. She was very conscious of her own beauty and enjoyed the attention she recieved from it; you could say she lived for it.
So when the men began to look away to openly stare in another direction, she noticed immediatly. Even Emmett noticed when one of patrions twisted around so much he lost his balance and fell out his booth.
What in the world could take their attention away from her and all her glory?
It was a girl walking by the window, going down the street wearing a pair of jeans, listening to a mp3 player and oblivious to the attention she was recieving.
"Lord have mercy."
Rosalie glanced at Emmett to find out what was wrong. His head was craned with his eyes fixated on the girls blue jean clad bottom.
"What the hell?!"
He turned back to Rosalie to face her fury, but only after the girl was out of sight.
"I can't help it if she's made that way."
Rosalie stomped out of the resturant.
Up the street there was a traffic jam, people were actually rolling down their windows and sticking their heads out to watch that little brat!
Rosalie would show her! She stomped up the street intending to pass by the girl and capture the attention of the on lookers for herself.
She was nearly there when the girl whipped around to face her, no longer oblvious. As she did, she stired the air in Rosalie's direction.
"Vampire!"
Rosalie couldn't believe it! She was bested by a werewolf?!
The horror!
Hehe, I couldn't help it, I'm not a fan of Rosalie and I just had to take her down a peg. By the way, the werewolf mentioned will be in an up-coming story of mine. Look for it late this November.
Don't judge me too harshly for the writing in this one, it was written in under 5 minutes while the song was playing.
