I wanted to post something longer this time but then I woke up this morning and realized it was Valentine's Day, and this story was already finished. I hope you'll like it; I certainly had fun while writing it.:) Please let me know what you think! And thanks for reading, as always.

His lips moved up… a brush – then a kiss… another…

The door opened with a soft creak. "Mama?"

The lips stopped on her thigh immediately while fuzzy curls appeared in the doorway. "What is it, darling?" Christine asked the entering Céline, gasping.

"I can't sleep." The little girl rubbed her eyes. Then frowned. "What is Father doing under the blanket?"

Christine swallowed. "He's… I've lost my ring. He's looking for it." A stifled chuckle came from under the named cover. "Why can't you sleep?"

"I had a nightmare," continued Céline, eyeing the bed suspiciously. "Wouldn't it be easier without that blanket?"

"No!" Christine cried and his breath tingled her thigh again. She clutched the coverlet tightly to her body. "No, it's fine."

"Found it!" Erik held out the ring before climbing out.

"Thank you!" She sighed when he settled behind her. "I've been so worried."

"I can only imagine," he grinned.

Christine turned to their daughter again. "I'll sing you to sleep, all right? Just a moment."

"All right," nodded Céline with a smile, then disappeared happily.

Christine put on her dressing gown. "We're not done yet," she scolded her husband playfully.

"I hoped so," he said, still grinning widely.
