Prologue:

It has been fifteen years since the end of the Winter War. Sousuke Aizen has been slain and his armies have fallen in defeat. Hueco Mundo has long been sealed and the fortress of Los Nochas stands in ruin as a reminder of those who have sacrificed their lives in the name of peace. Now peace reins over both worlds. It seems the shadows of destiny have finally given way to the light of tranquility.

In this time of peace, the Soul Society has bolstered its power. The thirteen Court Guard Squads have returned to their full strength. Although the scar left by Aizen's betrayal is still visible in both worlds, the wound itself is healing. Now, long after the execution of the three traitors the worlds are truly whole again. Unfortunately, as is often the case with destiny, this peace is a fragile and fleeting one. Soon the battles of the past shall rise from the mists of time and tare the worlds asunder once again.
