Walking out of the airplane and seeing Brisbane, Australia for the first time was amazing. The summer winds were blowing on my face and my hair was blown back. I walked into the Brisbane airport and went to look out the many glasswindows. The view was amazing, you could see a few green plains with some beautiful gum nut trees.
After admiring the view I walked downstairs to the luggage pick up and waited for my 3 huge pink suitcases to come around. They all came out together and I walked up and picked them off with a bit of help from the man next to me.
"Thank you," I told him. I grabbed one of the massive trolleys and ordered an uber. When the uber arrived, the man grabbed my suitcases and placed one in the boot and 2 in the back, so I sat in the front. The ride to the Meriton Suites on Herschel Street felt like a long trip. I paid the driver some money via the app and he grabbed mysuitcases and helped me get them inside.
I went to the check-in desk and spoke to the young lady that was working there. She got me checked in and gave me my personal card to get in. I asked here if someone was able to take up my suitcases and she told me that she will get someone to take them up.I took the lift up to the top floor, my adoptive mum only buys the best for me. I went up into my personal suite and looked up over the view.
This view was 20x better than the view at the Brisbane airport. I saw the sandy beaches and the big city, with all the tiny cars and buses driving around. I opened up the window and stepped out onto the balcony, the air instantly hitting me. This air was so much fresher than the air in Paris. I looked down and saw a blue clear river, with a few boats, looking like they were doing tours.
It was a while until the suitcases would be up, so I decided to let Tikki out of my handbag. She instantly went over to the balcony and had her face on the glass trying to get the best view. "It has changed so much since I have been here Marinette, so many new places to visit." I sighed, she was so cute sometimes. "Tikki, we are going out tomorrow and we will be able to visit many different places and walk down the beach if we want," I told her. We weren't going sight-seeing today for the jet-lag was already getting me.
The bags came a few minutes later and I unpacked and decided to get changed into my pajamas and order food to come up here, we order cookies and a meat-lovers pizza. The meal was delicious, I went to go to bed, but someone was a bit hyper after eating soo many cookies. I tried placing my pillow over my ears and that still done nothing.
After 2 hours it was finally peace and quiet, so I was able to fall asleep.
