Minerva banged her gavel on the staff room table.

"Silence! I know that now you all have your names, you're very excited. First things first: has anyone been assigned themselves?"

Fourteen heads shook no.

"All right then. You may start writing. Yes, Miss Granger?"

"Professor, can we talk to anyone about our assignment or story?"

McGonagall sighed. "It's understandable that you will want to have one confidante to discuss your ideas and beta read with. Please keep it to a single person, however. Certainly to a small group of people if absolutely necessary."

A big pink bubble popped. It was the same color as the hair of the person chewing the gum.

"Did you have a question, Miss Tonks?"

Tonks leaned back in her chair. "When are the assignments due?"

"December fifth, dear."

Bill Weasley raised his hand. "How do we hand our stories in?"

"An excellent question, Mr. Weasley. There are several steps to handing in your story. First of all, go to your profile page on the left. In the column on the left is a link for 'DocX.' Chose that link, and then the one marked "connections."

"You will find yourself on a screen that has a dropdown box. Select and 'Penname' and then enter 'TLX' in the box.

"Within a day or two, the queen of TLX will approve the connection. In the mean while, you may finish your story. Load your completed, edited story into your Document Manager as a 'DocX' file. You will want to read it through, because it will change your formatting.

"The recipient list will be whomever you've established a connection with, and the file list will include all your DocXes. Your comment should include the name of the recipient and your intended story summary. When you click the 'Send Document' button, it will arrive in the TLX queen's inbox."

Harry leaned forward. "What do we do about reviews?"

"When the time comes, you will each be granted access to the TLX account and its password. No, Mr. Boyd, it's not 'redlace'."

Minerva pretended not to notice as a rubber band released by Melody Bramble hit Hank squarely in the ear.

"Is every thing clear?"

"One last question, if you will, Minerva."

"Yes, Mr. Lupin?"

"How will people know who wrote the stories?"

"Ah, yes. After all the stories have been posted, there will be a reveal, at which time the TLX Queen will add the penname of the authors to the story summaries. At that time, if you wish, you may also post the story under your own profile."

"It's quite clear, Minerva," said Molly. "I think we're ready."
