In a black out

Midnight where we used to dance

Underneath the ugly halogen lamps

It all went away so fast

"I'm going to miss you, when I wake up..." Alice said, staring at the Mad Hatter from the corner of her eye, before returning her attention to her hands over the balcony, letting her long blond hair hide her sad smile.

Because maybe I don't want to wake up... Nor end up forgetting about the only person in the world that make me feel so safe and loved, that accept me the way I am... Mad.

"Alice..." The Mad Hatter was frowning, his huge green eyes sad, but not for the fact that she didn't believe he was real, but for seeing her sad, he didn't like that. Alice was a happy girl, dreamy and deserved to be always happy.

He then deposited his hat over the balcony's edge and touched the girl's shoulder gently, making her turn her face to him, reluctant, because she didn't want him to see her like that, but he opened a beautiful smile, showing the gap between his teeth and he grabbed her hands, pulling her firmly, but gently, towards the middle of the balcony.

"Hatter?" She called him, blushing and tipping her head to one side, not understanding what he was doing until she felt he put one of her own hands over his shoulder and his hand to her waist, keeping his other hand joined to hers and Alice felt her heart beat fast in a way it had never happened before, with the proximity of their bodies, but she felt comfortable in his arms, different from the one time she had danced with Haimish.

"Then, we should create a lot of memories together so you can remember about me when you wake up." The Hatter suggested, still smiling, his voice gently while he watched Alice's flushed face open in a small, but beautiful smile.

"I agree with you." She admitted and inside herself, she prayed that she didn't wake up, so she could stay in that dream in the Hatter's arms while the waltzed in a slow and imaginary rhythm under the moonlight.

When they stopped waltzing, they two stayed in their places, in the middle of the balcony in a comfortable silence and Alice leaned her head against the Hatter's chest, hearing his heartbeats, beating as fast as her own and, as improper as that gesture was back in London, to her, there in he dream, in Wonderland, it seemed natural and she suspected that it was because the redhead gave her a feeling of... Being loved?

The Hatter wrapped her in his arms, feeling her body fit in his and he deposited a kiss on the top of her blonde head, being invaded by her scent, so sweet and unique and he wished that the Glorian Day never came so he could stay like that, with his Alice, forever. He had waited for so long to meet her again, they had gone through height's issues but now, there were them, together.

"I'll wait for you as long as it's necessary..." He whispered, putting some space between them so he could stare at her dark eyes, with so much love and determination and he saw the surprise in her eyes, so he raised his hand, caressing her face with his fingertips, imagining all the hats he wanted to make to her beautiful head, imagining having her with him forever, living wonderful moments.

Alice opened a beautiful smile and, gathering all her courage, she stood on tiptoe and touched her lips to his in a kiss, surprising him, knowing that if it was a dream, like she thought it was, everything could vanish in a black out before she had the chance and then, blushing and feeling in cloud nine with her first kiss, she took a step back, before turning and leaving to rest for the Glorian Day, leaving the Hatter in the balcony, who had a fool smile on his face, both him and Alice with theirs lips burning in a good way.
