Characters: Aizen, Neliel
Summary: The ruler of Las Noches and the queen of the desert.
Pairings: Aizen x Neliel
Warnings/Spoilers: Spoilers for Hueco Mundo arc
Timeline: Pre-Hueco Mundo arc
Author's Note: Suddenly I had an idea for a totally ridiculous crack pairing, and this is the result. Take it as you will. I would like to hear back and see if anyone likes this pairing at all, before I try another Aizen x Neliel oneshot.
Disclaimer: I don't own Bleach.
She's trapped the sickle moon in her hair—even though there's no sun on Hueco Mundo the moon still has phases—long and soft and fine like peridot silk as his hands run through the long, gently curling locks.
The women are different on Hueco Mundo, though this one, the Arrancar with a cool, calm essence is the most striking of the lot. Not violent, not bloodthirsty, not mindless, not cruel. Just the wise, serene queen of the desert.
A remote, lovely queen for the white fortress of Las Noches.
"When the day for battle comes, what will you do?" Hazel eyes are serious; Neliel is always serious, even when she smiles. Her fair skin is smooth and cool under his hands; not even slightly callused or weathered despite the biting sandy winds of the desert.
To Aizen, the answer is quite simple. "I will win."
She cares nothing for what becomes of Soul Society, and desires nothing less than confidence in a lover.
Tantalizing, how every time he tries to catch the sickle moon in her hair, it disappears out from under his grasp, like a coronet that always remains affixed.
He will persevere, until he holds the shining crescent moon in his hands.
