It was around lunch time, and the team of NCIS were standing around the bullpen's Plasma, looking at photos and possible theories of a murder, they had investigated only early that morning. As McGee, the computer genius searched for phone records, a loud grumbling was heard from an adjacent desk, only to be met with "No, time for lunch now, DiNozzo" from the boss of the team, agent Gibbs, before he proceeded to pick up the incoming call, from his desk phone.
10 minutes later the team had grown from a small 4 to a large group of 8, that now including Director Vance, head of NCIS. As they shared their information, eagerly among them, the taps of computer keys, where heard in between breaks, then sudden stops, when information was placed onto the screen in front of them. The petty officer, who had died around 2010 the previous night, was shown to have made a 5 minute call, 15 minutes before she died. With McGee, pulling up a name and address, Officer David and Special Agent DiNozzo, were sent out to search, for their new number 1 suspect. After grabbing their gear, and making their way for the company SVU, the rest of the remaining members, turned and headed for their own work stations, offices and lab's, to keep Gibbs a happy, updated boss.
After the 15 minute drive to the near town, and address McGee had given them, they found a nice house, in the middle of suburbia, being opened by a sweet 5 year old, who gladly went and got her mum. When she arrived at the door with a sleeping baby in her arms, she informed them that she was Mrs. Mary Franklin and that Mr. Hubertus, had not lived her for the past 7 years. They then thanked her, and headed back for HQ, where they would confront Gibbs, with their find.
Meanwhile in the lab at HQ, Abby the team's forensic scientist found traces of Mark Hubertus's hair, under the victim's fingernails, she quickly informed Gibbs, and was met by the ding of the elevator and a CAF-POW, which was placed into her hand. After his short trip to energize their forensic scientist 'Abby', he walked through the doors to find 'Ducky' talking to the dead body and looking for answers.
As they arrived back at the Bullpen, Tony stormed over to McGee's desk and stated "Nice job, McWrong" in a threatening voice, only to be confronted by a slap on the back of the head, which was commonly known as the Gibbs slap, and often hit his head. "Shutting up now Gibbs' he exclaimed in a frightened voice, much to Ziva's amusement who like usual had watched, the whole scenario unnoticed. "And why is McGee, wrong, DiNozzo" said Gibbs, in an uneasy tone of voice. "Mr. Hubertus, has not lived at this address, in over 7 years, boss" he replied in his smart alic way, only to be met with the Gibbs slap on his and the computer geeks head. Ziva, who was curling her long, dark around her finger, quickly reached to grab the phone that was ringing. "Officer David, NCIS" she said into the phone. "Yes, I understand ok send them up" she replied after a short break where she listened with content.
