I do not own, nor claim to own The Lord of the Rings, the race of Hobbit, or anything else apart from this poem itself.
I'd ike to thank, and give credit to, J.R.R. Tolkien, his wonderful mind and all the hobbits who never gave up.

A Light in the Dark
A Poem about Hobbits

Long ago, in a land of evil

there lived some hobbits, happy and cheerful

Despite the dark clouds in the East,

they always loved to have a feast

And even when grim times had come,

no matter what, they'd not succumb

They'd go ahead and live their lives,

come home each night and kiss their wives

For if they'd not resist the power

they'd be enslaved or just devoured

Not one more feast would be enjoyed,

their beautiful lands would be destroyed
