The first thing that woke him up was the jingling. The god damn jingling! It was those stupid handcuffs! How is anyone supposed to sleep when they're handcuffed to an insomniac?!?! What the hell was that Ryuuzaki doing now?

The second thing was the wimpering. Wimpering? What the hell was that? What did he have a stomach ache from to much sweets?

The third was the tugging. What did he want his attention?

Finally after a few minutes of listening Light decided to open his eyes.

It took him a while to realize what he was seeing.

In the bed across from his in his bed Ryuuzaki was tossing and turning in his sleep. He was having a nightmare.

From his mouth came pitiful wimpers and cry's for help.

Light found it hard to stare for to long. For in front of him was the man who was always so calm and collected. He found it just weird the he, just from falling asleep, was reduced from 25 year old genius, to little more than a young child in need of comfort.

Light carefully got out of his bed, crossing in between the small gap between the two beds, to sit on the side of Ryuuzaki's bed. After staring for a while he carefully placed his hands on wimpering mans sholders and shook him a bit.

"Ryuuzaki..Wake up."

"...No!..."

But it was useless. When Light tryed to wake him up again he cringed and tryed to burrow into his pillow as if it would help him get away from the unknown terror from his nightmare.

So Light took a different approach. He took one hand and pinched Ryuuzaki's nose closed while he took the other hand and took the man lips between his index and his thumb, as to block his breathing.

After a moment or two Ryuuzaki's eyes fluttered open as his hand shot up to take away Lights hands from his breathing holes.

While taking deep breath's, he shot Light a death glare .

"Good morning sunshine."

"Go away"

"Do you want to talk about it?"

"Go away"

"Might make you feel better"

Ryuuzaki layed back down in bed facing oposite of Light at the end of the bed farthest from Light.

He gasped suddenly when he felt Light slip into his bed, put his arm around his shoulders, and pull him closer to his body.

"Well then you should know everything will be all right because I'm here.
