A/N: 100 word challenge for "carol"
"What are you reading?" Seth asked, bouncing into the pool house.
Ryan glanced up at his hyperactive brother and sighed. "A book. Sorry Seth, there aren't any pictures."
Seth's eyes widened comically. "Did you just make a joke? Like – actual humor and sarcasm?" He wiped a fake tear. "I'm so proud."
He turned and hurried back towards the kitchen. "Dad! Ryan made a bona fide joke – with sarcasm even!"
Ryan sighed and turned the next page. If Seth was this excited about a small joke, he would hate to see him if he knew Ryan was reading "A Christmas Carol."
