Disclaimer/A/N: I don't own Persona 3. I decided to try something different this time. It's MinatoAigis. It's a different take on the ending, so of course there are spoilers. It's not my best(or longest) story but I hope you like it. Be light with mean words I'm weird with those(I get uber depressed) but please be honest and I love concrit!
Blue . . . He was staring at something blue, it looked like the sky, but it wasn't. It was her beautiful eyes. They were clouded with tears. His mind was fogy.
"What's wrong?" He asked weakly. She shook her head. He forced a smile at her.
"Aigis?" He asked.
"It's all my fault. None of this would have happened to you if it wasn't for me." She told him. He shook his head.
"I told you . . . before. You did the right . . . thing . . . " He struggled to get the words out. He was so tired. She had said she wanted to protect him, that was her purpose? He didn't want to hurt her.
"You have . . . such a beautiful smile, please don't cry Aigis." He said. She was surprised by this. Why was she crying? She had a feeling she was never going to hear his angle-like voice again. He was losing his strength fast. A horrible terror fell over him. He had never been afraid before. Even when he used Great Seal, he knew it would kill him, but now he was terrified.
I'm dying, aren't I?
"Minato!?" Aigis cried. He nodded, letting her know he was awake. She smiled, even though she was crying.
"I told you I wanted to protect you! I told you I would always be here! I couldn't even keep my promise . . . I'm sorry . . . " She sobbed.
I lied too. I lied to everyone, to Junpei . . . To you . . .
"No, Aigis . . . I'm sorry . . . I said . . . I . . . Wouldn't leave . . . you" He forced the words out. She started talking. Her words were getting farther away.
I'm sorry, Aigis.
She was crying. He wasn't sure what to say. He could think of any words.
"It'll be okay." He told her. He closed his eyes. He couldn't fight anymore. He wanted to say so much more. He wanted to tell her that it was for the best. Shinjiro's last words returned to him.
"This is how it should be." That's what he said. He understood now. Here, with Aigis. This is how it should be. His fear was gone. It was replaced with a powerful feeling of resolve. Almost happiness. He had been waiting all his life to be here with her.
I love you . . .
He relaxed with her. He always had. He fell asleep.
"Minato!?" Aigis called. Tears fell from her eyes and onto him. A gentle breeze blew by, and with it came a voice.
"Don't worry. We'll always be together. Just look to the future and smile."
"...The pink alligator drown in his own tears, but with that made a spring where all the other animals found peace. He never managed to find meaning his life, but gave meaning to others. The animals never knew of the pink alligator death . . ."
A/N: Well that's it. As for the ending story, it's from a social link. I could remember it well, but I thought it really fit the end of the game. I couldn't write it word for word. It's been awhile.
