This is happening instead of Bakugo's and Midoriya's little spat after Camino ward.
This is my first story, and it's past midnight. If I fucked something up, I apologize. But, on with the story!
Bakugo sighed as he looked over the ledge. He heard footsteps behind him and laughed to himself. Someone was probably trying to stop him. He heard the noise come to a stop as Tapey shouted at him.
"Tell Deku I'm taking my own advice. Maybe I'll be stronger next time around." He leaned forward and let himself fall.
Aizawa got to the roof just as Bakugo began falling and there was no way in hell this problem child was throwing his life away. He ordered Sero to stick some tape to his back as he jumped after him. He could feel the wind against his face as he got ready to grab his student. He grabbed the capture scarf from around his neck, struggling to wrap it around the boy. Eventually he did, and he shouted up to Sero to stop feeding out tape. He felt a sudden tug on his back. Sero lowered the duo to the ground. As soon as his feet touched the ground, he was pulling his capture scarf back and walking towards Bakugo. He batted away Aizawa's hand. He was pissed. He whipped around to face his teacher.
"Why the FUCK did you save me? Don't you think I deserve to die? I fucking killed All Might! Why don't you hate me?" Bakugo had tears running down his face as he screamed at his teacher. In the next second, he found himself engulfed by black and sweat and cats and cheap-ass cologne and pencil shavings and fuck he was crying.
Aizawa held him as heavy, dry sobs ripped from the boy's throat. He clung to his shirt, his capture scarf, anything he could get ahold of. Bakugo held on to the man like a liferaft, even as his classmates began to join the hug. Aizawa felt the squeeze from all sides as various students were overridden with the urge to comfort their classmate. Hell, even Mineta got in on the hug, wrapping an arm around Iida's waist and Tsuyu's shoulders. Unfortunately though, he did have to teach today. He was seriously considering just throwing on a video. Aizawa told the students to begin heading back to the classroom. He kept an arm tight around his shoulders, being a full head taller than the boy. He didn't let go until they had reached the classroom.
Aizawa did indeed opt to put on a video, finding a crosswalk the musical playlist on YouTube and letting James Corden teach while he spent time thinking over the events that had occurred earlier. As the bell rang for lunch and students began to walk out, he emerged from his stupor.
"Bakugo, wait a second." He tensed in the doorway, but stepped towards Aizawa's desk to let his classmates pass. They gave him reassuring smiles as they walked out, promising to save him a dessert or a seat at lunch.
"You can sit down, you know."
He didn't.
"Let me guess. You think it's your fault that All Might had to retire?" Silence. And then:
"You act like it isn't." He sighed and got up from his chair, stepping forward and placing a hand on his shoulder.
"It's not. There's nothing you could have done to prevent that. You couldn't have defeated all for one, or escaped on your own. You made the right choice by going with your friends instead of trying to stop the villains." Bakugo sniffled, but continued to stare at his feet. Aizawa went to his sleeping bag and pulled out a book.
"This is a book that has kept me from suicide a couple of times, actually. It's Long Way Down, by Jason Reynolds. Give it a read. And-" he took a breath. "-if you need someone to talk to, I've dealt with that shit before. I'm open." Bakugo nodded and walked out.
