Tony, Bruce, Steve, Clint, Natasha and Thor walked into the newly refurbished and retitled Avengers Tower.
"Sooooo… what do you guys think?" Tony asked while everybody just stared. "It was Pepper's idea, a compromise, really. I would rather have just an 'A' than 'Potts' on my tower."
"Our tower, remember?" Pepper put in before shaking hands with the other Avengers.
"I've gotta say, Stark. It looks better that it did before." Steve said, gazing up at the tallest building around.
"We each have our own floors, with bathrooms and everything!" Tony said. "Floor 20 is the kitchen and dining room, and floor 19, the living room, connects with it. Don't forget about the Aven-Jet, room 18. Gotta be close to where the action takes place." Bruce looked a bit uncertain.
"You sure you want me here? Because… uhh… you know…" Tony just laughed.
"Seriously, Brucie? You're my science buddy! And you know how I feel about the Hulk! But if it makes you feel any better, I built a Hulk-proof room." Tony turned to face the two assassins. "And for you, dear Birdie, plenty of vents and even an upside down playground! And for Tasha and Steve, plenty of gyms and a HUGE in-ground pool on floors 23,24, and 27. Lots of labs too, for me and Brucie!" Pepper rolled her eyes at Tony's excitedness.
"There are also like 10 guest rooms, by the way, in case you don't like your own."
"Which I doubt." Tony added. "Oh, and for you, Point Break, I got lots of free rooms for your to bring the hammer down." Everyone chuckled.
"Thank you, Friend Stark and Lady Pepper for your generosity." Thor said.
"Please, call me Tony."
"Of course."
"Alright, enough talk. Show us around already!" Clint said impatiently. After about a half hour, a complaining Clint and a slightly scared Steve, (JARVIS startled him), the Avenger got a call from ol' one eyed himself. Fury's face appeared on a large screen in the living room.
"Director Fury." Natasha stated.
"Avengers, we need you in here. We have someone I want you all to meet. The Helicarrier will be above your tower in 5 minutes. Fury out." The Avengers looked at each other, then at Pepper.
"I'm sorry, ma'am, but it seems like we'll have to postpone the tour." Steve said.
"It's alright, Steve, and don't call me ma'am. It makes me feel old!" Steve nodded, and gestured for the other Avengers to go the roof.
By the time they got there, the Helicarrier was already there. Agent Hill escorted us to the Bridge.
"Director Fury," she said, "the Avengers are here to see you." Fury turned around dramatically, and announced in the speaker phone:
"Agent Cove? Report to the Bridge immediately." The Avengers turned towards the door, when a clang echoed in the room. A teenaged girl appeared from the vents above and landed gracefully onto a desk.
"Hi! Director, you called?"
