Summary of story: We see the world through Howl's eyes and entries in his diary. Sophie has left and of course, Howl is heart broken. Each chapter is a diary entry that can reveal what happened between them, or go in a totally different direction. I want to write this as a 'twist a plot' story where readers can suggest topics for Howl's diary entries. Each entry will gradually lead him towards either: finding Sophie, discovering a new love or? You choose the lovers fate.
163 days since you left me
Sometimes a love won't go and as hard as I try I know it shows in everything I do.
Everybody keeps telling me, nagging me that I'll be over you eventually.
But how am I suppose to feel so secure without you here?
I wonder who's holding you now... I wonder who's heart you are knocking around... I don't need to tell you this but you know my cariad, there is nothing I wouldn't do to be in his shoes right know.
I wonder what magic I can find to turn me back to the one whose arms you will want around you.
Your letter started and ended with goodbye. I've read it over a million times and this morning I lost count. Still, I keep hoping Markl will tell me this is just an awful dream, and when I wake up you'll be here next to me
Tell me it will be just the way it was, Sophie.

Another day another entry, but scratching my quill in this diary doesn't change the fact you left me.
The worn leather diary closes, and seals magically. It will only open to me, and my thoughts about you. The damnable quill won't even dry when I blow on it. Nothing does anything I want it to anymore.
I'm sorry Sophie. Please come back to me.
I made a mistake. I miss you.
"Master Howl, maybe today you could show me the magic spell I've been trying to learn? It's been a month since you've promised me. Please?" Markl asks me half knowing what my reply will be.
"I can't get her off my mind Markl," I find myself inadvertently confessing to my apprentice Markl. My eyes can't tear themselves away from the kitchen table where I carved Sophie's name over every inch, like the way her name constantly whispers into my ear with every breath I take. Every time I think of you, the memories burn inside the 'thing' that somehow manages to beat, albeit very slowly.
TBC.
A/N: Just joined and I'm into writing diary entries. I'm looking for diary topics to continue with 'Howl's Diary'. I'd want to try and write this where readers can choose what direction to go in, by suggesting topics for me to write about. It'll make it more fun to see what readers want to reveal or find out about Howl's break-up with Sophie and how it happened and whose fault it was. Is any one into proposing a topic for Howl's next entry? All reasonable ideas highly appreciated and WILL be used if they fit within my story line.
