Chapter 1
One beautiful cool crisp day in October when Shane and Mitchie are both 18 Mitchie skips school to go to up to camp and meet Shane like he asked her to and gets there and gets out of her car and walks around looking for him and finally turns and sees him standing out on the dock at the smiles and walks down to the dock.
''Shane?'' she questions
Shane turns around ''Mitchie, I knew you would make it here come here.'' he tells her
Mitchie walks towards him.
''Shane what are we doing here?'' she asks him
''I just wanted you to see how beautiful this lake is in the fall.'' he tells her
Mitchie looks around ''yea it really is beautiful.'' she says taking a deep breath of the nice crisp fall air
''so you made me skip school and drive all the way up here just so we could spend time alone together?'' she asks him
''yea well that's part of it.'' he tells her
''part of it?'' she questions him
''yea, Mitchie...'' he stops himself
''yes Shane?'' she questions him
''you know that I love you very much right?'' he questions her
''yea,yea I do and I love you too.'' she tells him
''okay good I think the right time for us is now.'' he tells her
''for what Shane?'' she questions him
''for this us.'' he tells her
''u...us?'' she questions him
''yea I've gotten to know you and learned everything I could possibly ever want to know.'' he tells her
''sha...you're not?'' she questions him
''yes yes I am it's the perfect time.'' he tells her softly smiling and pulls out a tiny box and gets down on one knee
''Mitchie Torres will you marry me and be the best wife you could possibly ever be?'' he asks her
''sha...'' she says stopping herself
Shane just looks at her.
''Yes Shane yes yes I will!'' she tells him
Shanes smiles and puts the ring on her and stands back up and picks her up and kisses her happily.
