"...Epona, I'll be gone for a long time now, so be a good girl and stay put, okay?" Link softly said to Epona, petting her snout. She simply nudged Link's forehead in agreement. Link smiled and stroked her mane once, and then he left, knowing that she would obey.
The sun rose and fell, as usual. Time went slowly for the young horse, but she would stay loyal to her master. Epona did not leave the side of Link's house. Colin and Ilea usually came to feed her at sundown. "Here's your hay, girl." Ilea approached Epona in the orange sky, and set a fair amount of hay below her. Epona casually lowered her head down and started to gingerly nibble on the hay. "And here's an extra little treat too..." Colin shyly stepped out from behind Ilea, holding a red delicious apple. The light of the setting sun glinted off the polished surface of the apple, catching Epona's eyes as she chewed her food. She looked up at Colin, and gave out a joyful whinny. Colin took a step towards the mare, and held the apple under her mouth. Epona hastily bit into the apple, making a crisp sounding crunch, taking about half of the fruit. Colin still held the apple under Epona as she chewed, and then swallowed. Colin, when he had first met Epona, was startled by her large teeth. He originally thought that she would accidentally bite him. Over time, he'd gotten used to the noises and actions from the animal much bigger than the boy. Epona quickly ate the other half, enjoying this uncommon luxury. Colin grinned, noticing her blissful reaction to the red delicacy. Colin stepped back, still smiling. Ilea spoke. "See you tomorrow, sweetie." She said, turning around to walk to her home. Colin followed promptly, and jogged to Ilea's side to catch up. Epona watched as they slowly got farther and farther away from her, and then continued eating her food.

Jeez, I haven't added any author's comments so far in any of the stories so far... Why can I only write fluff? AND I've only written for Zelda and Hetalia so far. TT_TT I'm so sorry, please forgive me. OTL I hope you liked it. And if I got you to crave apples, please tell me in a review. I was craving apples when I wrote this. XD I need more inspiration, but I'm too lazy to get off my butt and think about story ideas. I can't exactly call this a drabble, since it's what, 300 words? That sounds about right. AND I'M REALLY SORRY IF I MADE ANY SPELLING ERRORS. ENGLISH IS MY FREAKIN' FIRST LANGUAGE AND SOMETIMES I CAN'T EVEN SPELL ORIGINAL RIGHT. TT_TT I only wanna make you happy, people. 'Cause I wuv all of you. ;D
